I don’t think the changes for 2000-2001 are a big deal, but interior is nicer to me. I just think there’s no rational reason to eliminate those years from your search. I’d look for the best 1997-2001 you can find in your spec.

Use 205 on the front instead of 215 (the difference in size is tiny) and there are several all season choices, including Continental DWS 06+.

I think as new cars continue to go up, great vintage cars, while they may go up and down a bit, will mostly continue to go up. I know one of the bidders on that car, and quite honestly, I thought he’d keep bidding until he won. He has the money, and only wants a very low mile car. Who knows...

You already had your near-mint window sticker to have someone scan and tweak in Photoshop. Nice result, but not at all the same as creating one from scratch.

They can only make a reproduction if you have enough info about the car- the selling dealer, etc., sometimes Carfax has that info.

The production numbers in 1991-1994 were huge compared to later years. (See link in my signature.) So it will be easier to find a manual steering car (5038 made from 1991-1994) than a 1995-2005 power steering car (3093 made from 1995-2005).

Regardless of transmission, I suspect a 30 year old NSX is probably the wrong choice for a low cost worry-free daily driver.
