Welcome to NSX ownership. I also have a 1999 with the SOS TT kit. I’ve driven 23k miles since the kit was installed and no big unsolvable issues yet. Enjoy!
Now hold up....I sold my S2000 to buy my NSX....only to buy another S2000 later. Now I have both, and all is right with my world. I stare at them in the garage every day. Ahhhh....
Even saying that... if the right NSX comes along at the right price and you have to move on it, do it. There...
@stuntman No, I would not mix tires like that. I have a set of Model V wheels with Indy 500s that I've been running, and had planned to keep for long distance trips to NSXPO.
I bought a new set of RGIIIs with specs as noted above, for local use, and am trying to choose stickier tires with...
Any report on wet performance with the CEC Force, @docjohn ? I'm thinking of going 225/40/17 front and 275/35/18 in the rear if I use these.
I just secured a set of Advan RGIIIs, 17x8 38 front and 18x10 35 rear. I'm saving my Model Vs with Indy 500s for distance travel, so I can go with...

They also mentioned that the yellow color was originally going to be Senna...
I am somewhat in the market for a base NC1, so this video is timely. Looks like a level-headed appraisal. I really want a Type S, but as in the video they are just insanely priced. Most realistic is a high optioned 2017 for me. We’ll see as I’m clearly not in a hurry.
I asked on FB NSX Prime almost four years ago. A Primate knew someone who was with Acura product planning when the NSX was released and he asked. Alas, he told me that “Kaiser” was just randomly decided as a word that sounded cool to the Japanese team members. So…it means nothing.
I just responded to you on Instagram. I am doing a happy dance for you! Wow wow wow! Welcome to the NSX fam. Merry Christmas too! You’d better get to a NSXPO sometime.
I use the newer version of the Grom BT module in my S2000, having just installed it a few weeks ago. It’s the same one that you would install in a NSX. It works fine with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, including charging.
