I will be coming to F1 this year and was looking for advice on parking. Current advertised pricing for 3 day event is $180.00 to $350. Do I need to pay this or is race day parking a better option?
It was a last-minute decision on my part to go, the weather was not looking good until 2 days out. It was my first time to sebring as spectator, it is very difficult see unless you have a motor home and a spot against the fence. I stayed for 7 hrs then headed out to the hotel to see the finish.
update:
I have replaced the o2 sensor and driven appx 300 miles total over 4 different trips with no issues. I think the o2 sensors may have been the problem.
I did not check any codes before I pulled the clock fuse because I thought i would start with a fresh slate since the past 20 years of ownership could have several unrelated codes. I did notice in the service manual 02 diagnosis that it said to drive in 4 th gear at x rpms for an amount of time...
Update.
Unplugged o2 sensors and it ran great for appx 100 miles. Reconnected o2 and drove it. After 30 miles problem occurred pulled over and jumped the resistor then continued driveling. Problem reoccurred. So I think it’s the o2 sensors.
By the way the problem seems to occur after a few...
Would I unplug the o2 sensor before it has the CEL or after ? I would think as soon as sensor is unplugged it would go into the closed loop and run fine on the preset program. am I thinking wrong?
I am thinking like asylum is saying all the other possibility's are mechanical and I would think the symptoms would remain when the CEL is on. Once the light comes on the problem is gone.
I am going to try and drive it this weekend to see if I can get it to throw a code.
I have a 91 with 190k on it. i am having an issue with it bogging down around 2500 to 3500 rpm then it will pick up and blast off fine. It doesn't do it all the time but it is more frequent lately. When it happens the exhaust note will change as I apply more throttle it doesn't really pick up...
I tried to find parts again today it appears the 94 kit is a National back order as is individual parts. Oem parts to build 2 calipers were gonna be around 130.00 shipped when available. I looked on Rock Auto. Parts are available from centric 5.15 per caliper. I ordered 4 fronts in case I mess...
When I look online I can not find a kit (91) only each part with 36mm discontinued. The parts diagram shows what appears to be a kit in the upper right of exploded view and listed as item 1. But the list starts with item 2.
All the parts for the front caliper rebuild are available except for the 36mm seal. Does anyone have a source for this. I really don't want to put it back together without all new parts.
I had a problem with mine a few years ago. The unlocking function worked fine but door would not unlatch. I inspected with a bore scope thru the window slot and all of the linkage was working correctly. Something had failed inside the latch assembly. The 400 bucks for the part was the easiest...
I just asked the guy at the Home Depot to give me a push. Car started went home and adjusted the length on the switch and kept driving it until the new stopper thing arrived. Not much drama.
I really don't think I have a suspension issue. The BFG 16/17 set up does not have this problem. I would think if it's a mechanical problem it would be on both sets. I believe that the maxis tire being not very good and directional caused this cupping issue.
I swap between my stock 16/17 rims and my 17/18 set several times a year. The stock rims ride and handle so much better than the 17/18. But I like the look of the 17/18. So I run the 17/18 set on during normal driving mostly weekends or 100 mile radius. If I am going on a road trip or track day...
I am on my first set of the BFG rival. I really like them, they mounted with hardly any weights added, they are quit and plenty of grip. I tracked them at Sebring last year during the nsxpo and have put an additional 4K on them with no issues.
The alignment is good. I had it done around this time last year and it was in spec. The wife had a sc430 with directional Michelin tires on it and they would cup and become noisy. The maxis tires I am replacing were awful in a few thousand miles. I could use a symetricical tire if I could find...
I have the BFG Rival on my 16/17 rims but can't find them for 17/18. I wish I could I really like them. The directional tires I have ran in the past on several cars seem to be prone to cupping.
