93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

I'm back with an update on my NSX. In short, the engine cranks, but just turns over and will not start. Three weeks ago I removed the tank and carefully installed a new Denso fuel pump & new tank filter. I briefly tested the new fuel pump for 1 second prior to installing it just to make sure...

Looking for Fuel Tank Removal Procedure within Service Manual

Got the tank out in approx 2 hours. Tested the fuel pump 'per the service manual procedure' within the NSX and couldn't hear the pump running. Then tested it when the tank was removed and still no life in the pump. I should be installing the new Denso pump tomorrow.

Looking for Fuel Tank Removal Procedure within Service Manual

Hello everyone. I am in the process of removing my fuel tank to install a new Denso fuel pump. I have searched here in the forum, on YouTube, and within the NSX Service Manual without much success. The Service Manual is 1420 pages long and for some reason I cannot get my device to do a...

Can't break banjo bolts loose on top of fuel filter

Hello guys, I cannot get the banjo bolts on top of the fuel filter to break loose. When I put force on the bolts the whole fuel filter canister spins and the fuel lines are flexing to the extent they could tear. I'm leary to use an impact gun on these bolts as I am afraid it could rapidly spin...

How do you remove the trim piece above the doors and atop the A-pillar?

I'm happy to learn this trim piece is held on with 9 screws and not 9 clips (which would most certainly break). This will be easy to remove.

Thank you very much for this assistance. And for the page numbers and the PDF. That was kind of you!

How do you remove the trim piece above the doors and atop the A-pillar?

1993 NSX How do I remove this trim piece? I searched the Acura parts diagram and it looks like a 3 year old child drew the diagram. I was hoping to simply 'see' how the trim piece was attached... either with clips or nuts, or both. This is an expensive part and hard to find. So I do not want...

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

I agree, very unusual for 2 issues like this to develop nearly at the same time. With that in mind, I too had a nearly certain feeling the issues would have been related to the Viper aftermarket security system. I am rather surprised it wasn't the aforementioned! I will come back and update...

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

I unplugged the fuel pump plug at the firewall and ran 12 volts directly to the pump (via + to the red/blk wire and - to the blk wire). I used several different batteries, just in case, and the pump remained silent. Fuel pump is dead.

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

Thanks for clarifying and for your kind concern so that I didn't inadvertently fry something important. I took a photo to show why I mentioned blk/silver. I guess the silver bands mean something different. Do you happen to know what the silver bands mean? I appreciate ALL your help Sir. I wish...

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

You are correct. I meant to say, I was trying to measure voltage. Kind of embarrassing, lol. Yes, I did do those measurements directly at the fuel pump connector. I also probed the red/blk with a 12v test light. The LED test light illuminated during the 2 second prime pulse. Finally, I...

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

This notorious Clutch Interlock Switch was really unpleasant to work with! Having the driver seat out allowed me to lay on my back and have my face up under the dash. Fitting both arms and a wrench up in there was another story. I hope the engineer(s) who designed this get to experience it first...

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

Hello Miner. You are correct. I am running the tests in the manual today. I ordered a new ignition switch last week, but it still has not arrived. I can return it if need be. I completely removed the aftermarket Viper Alarm.

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

The Fuel Pump still does not prime. The fuel pump resistor in the engine bay is OEM & new. The Main Relay is OEM & new. I connected my continuity tester directly to the Red/Blk wire at the fuel pump connector, and turned the key to start. This caused the continuity tester to show some numbers...

93 NSX. Click, No Crank, No Fuel Pump Prime

Ok, I have a good update for once. I made another jumper wire and went back to the Starter Cut Relay. I then jumped the blk/blu wire with the blk/wht wire. This time the starter cranked over! I purchased a new Denso Starter Cut Relay and installed it, but the starter once again would not...

The oem security module is still installed. My car did infact come with an oem accessory keyless entry system. I found the module. But I do not have the transponders. And per my prior post stating the LED door alarm light not coming on. You identified the reason why, I now realize I had both...

Ok. I first checked fuse 29 under the hood. It was not blown. I twice checked all the fuses under the hood, under the dash, and in the engine bay. Not a single fuse was blown. *I cannot find my continuity/voltage tester, so I need to go buy one soon. Once I get the tester, I'll follow your...
