Smog Test - O2 Pass - Air Fuel Fail

Thanks everyone... The cats are new but high flow aftermarket cats as part of a exhaust system. There are no additional bungs for a Wideband which thinking about it is a shame as i have a spare wideband sensor and gauge. The car is a 1995 UK car, it's OBD1. I might try driving it later at...

Smog Test - O2 Pass - Air Fuel Fail

awesome thanks, i will try that. The cats are brand spankers. Not sure how many retests they will give me before they start getting fed up at me lol.

    Windscreen washer motor

Will do... It just about fits in the recess, little tight but does fit. The bottom nipple is on the wrong side however the hose is long enough to fit without a kink, so no real biggy. I reused the original rubber grommet as it fits snug in the washer bottle. Bargain at £8 vs Honda UK...

Smog Test - O2 Pass - Air Fuel Fail

Also more info, the car has sat still for a couple years and i've also recently changed the oil. Doubt oil makes any difference, but worth mentioning.

Smog Test - O2 Pass - Air Fuel Fail

The manual and the info that use to be online for resetting the ecu doesn't exist like it use to. There was a good guide but can no longer find it. The steps i followed to reset the ecu was: run the car up to temp (i didn't drive the car, it was only at idle, i believe ideally you would drive...

Smog Test - O2 Pass - Air Fuel Fail

Hi, As the title. My car just failed emissions due to running too rich. It did however pass O2. To me that would suggest my O2 sensors and cats are fine? As for running to rich, my mods are as follows. Induction kit Full exhaust system including headers and sports cats Vapor crankcase...

    Official ITB Reference Thread

Love it!! Also curious... Is that a custom intake box or a off the shelf setup?

For the record re: Comptech camshafts

I did see someone was making cams once again for the NSX but not sure who it was.

    DBW ITB's

Does anyone make a DBW ITB kit? I know several offer ITB's but the SOS kit and Toda are cable, i rather have DBW as it retains more factory features. Also adding to this, does anyone make a intake box or filter kit as a option? Thanks

    Calling Car audio guru's

I currently have a older Kenwood double DIN with a small amp in the boot and some components up front, the sound is ok but not great. struggle to even handle the mid ranges without distortion but i do recall a crossover failing and i replaced it from another from a different brand so wasn't...

    Calling all mods...

Hey... Some of my posts require mod approval and some don't although posted in the same area. Little confusing, why some not others. But typically the posts i really need help on don't get approved or posted. Not sure why? I'm well behaved and not always a bad influence, promise :P There...

    T Roof Panel Gasket Replacement

I need to replace the back one, around the pillars not the targa itself. One word... Money...!!!! So expensive.

    Engine Mount Install with Pictures

I have Innovative engine mounts, i wouldn't recommend. Well, they are very competitively priced, however they are not billet bling like the ones here. The reason why i wouldn't recommend, the top engine side mount simply does not fit without trimming. It's too big and clashes with the...

Replaced Main Relay and Still Clicking

I'm having similar issue... I might have found the cause, although the issue does still exist it's 100 times better. Going to the positive connected, there is both the cable from the fuse box, the other goes directly to the starter motor (assuming i have read the manual correctly) Some numpty...

TCS Light 4 long, 4 short error code

Sorry... I do apologise with all the questions, i am getting my car back on the after it's sat for a while. I shorted the pin and counted the lines, 4 long and 4 short which suggested Rear Right sensor. As mentioned the car had sat, the Wheel speed sensors had been disconnected at the cable...

Clutch not releasing when car is running.

I also bled the clutch system and that proved difficult due to the manual not being clear. It's really easy to do, it's really easy to get wrong. Do not let the fluid level drop below the min line on the bottle, the recommended 20 bumps will make it drop below this line. At which point you are...

Clutch not releasing when car is running.

I did attempt to reply but it's not been approved by mods. It was indeed the mid plate that needed initialising. There is a great guide on Prime for this. What i did find though, if you follow the 360 degree turns, you will find the bolt will not clear the sump if it's not in enough for the...

    Grounds behind spare wheel

Amazing thanks... I did consult the manual and one of them i believe to be EPS the other must be aftermarket as suggested, not sure what though as it's difficult to trace.

Emission / Smog test failed, O2 passed / Air Fuel failed.

I know this subject has been beaten to death but my test result returned a pass on the O2 / Oxygen sensors but i failed the test overall due to running too rich. I do have aftermarket headers, exhaust system and intake system. I also vape my crankcase directly to the atmosphere not returning...

    Windscreen washer motor

Also just to add... When searching Prime several commented saying it's a pumper off job. I was able to do the swap with the bumper in place, it was fiddly but enough room to get your hands in there.

Thanks, managed to find a generic one that fits :)

    Windscreen washer motor

The motor has gone bad, pull the stalk, no noise, nothing. Crimped two cables with open spade connecters to test motor on battery, nothing. Think it's likely a faulty unit. I'm trying to source one locally, does the NSX share the windscreen washer motor with any other cars? It seems a fairly...

    Grounds behind spare wheel

How many grounds cables are there behind the spare wheel and where to they bolt to? There is the main ground from the battery, not sure if these are on other cars but i then have additional 2 other grounds, one looks like a factory terminated cable, the other is crimped but looks like it comes...
