I can't believe someone has not made or marketed a mesh cover to go over the SC specifically. Would the one on the Science of Speed site go over an SC?
Has anyone actually heard of or seen the back glass being cracked by a rock due to not having an engine cover? Mine is supercharged and the stock cover obviously does not fit but not even sure if the mesh one would fit. I am not wild about buying a mesh one to try and find out but would like...
Always wanted a 1st gen NSX but ended up getting a 2011 997 TTS first then an SC'ed 97 NA2 both are awesome to drive in their own way. The Porsche is just so fast I can see how people get themselves into trouble without nannies to keep them on the right track so to speak. But the analogue...
I am so bummed. My cousin actually opened for them back in the early days and Eddie produced an album for my cousin so I got to meet him several times along with the other band members at the time. Definitely a huge loss. RIP Eddie.
My bad.... I was thinking NA2 when I posted this.... NEWBIE alert! :(
Any other suggestions would be welcome as I actually did get a sub par recommendation for Source 1 .

Thanks, I have already called and ordered through dealerships and websites who say they are on permanent back order which they say just means they are discontinued. I ordered through ebay and they waited a month to tell me it could not be shipped. I am a month into another fleabay purchase...
I am not sure which Austrian parts store you are referring to but I have checked Amayama and yes they do have it but limited on shipping from Japan as I understand it. It will take months to get here.
Bram, thanks. PMed you
Love this thread. Hopefully it gets more robust as time moves on. I am currently looking for headlight bracket and bumper bracket parts that are super hard to find.
I am replacing a Marga Hills front bumper and going back to stock and cannot seem to find a left front bumper bracket anywhere. This is the L bracket that holds the bumper in place. I ordered one on ebay and one in several other places but all orders get canceled due to shipping from Japan...
Yes, it was a sleepy look with Marga Hills bumper and side skirts. Going back to stock and it looks like the regular stock cage was welded straight.
I am on vacation until Thursday but will take pictures and put them up when I get back.

My pop up headlight cages had been welded at the hinge for a fixed look and I was wondering if you can get the individual parts without buying the whole headlight. I have a service manual and have been to the dealership and neither have been much help.
