    Only 349 Type S left

Very sorry to hear! What color was your Type S? Was it 130R or Casino White like your previous NSX?

    Hyperblack/Dark Chrome Acura Emblems

SOS sells carbon fiber black emblems. I would recommend those.

    NC1 battery cooling?

It's been awfully hot recently, with temps in the 110F +. I am wondering what type of battery cooling technology there is for the NC1, when it is parked, and when driving. Fully electric vehicles like Tesla, Bolt, have liquid cooled systems for the batteries. The Nissan Leaf has air cooled...

    NC1 alignment

Whenever you're in town hit me up. I'd love to take my NC1 out for a meet and greet.

    Driving my NSX to work

I discount superficial comments from superficial people in wealthy areas like Beverly Hills and perhaps where you live. Those people live in a bubble and only comment on cars from a snobbish point of view. What's more interesting and honest for me is the feedback from the average person off...

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

As a car lover and engineering geek, I drooled over this amazing recent video about the NC1 and its powerplant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtCcnrO2Rzs Honda is known for building the very best engines in the entire world. This crown jewel and heartbeat of the NC1, the Cosworth engine...

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

Extended warranties don't cover routine maintenance. Valve adjustment is recommended at 120,000km, or 75k miles. At this rate, it will be 20 years before I require a valve adjustment given how I drive my NC1. If I had more time to drive it, sure I'd have to pay more out of pocket, but such is...

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

Not sure if nsxsupra will answer, but here is a post from a NC1 owner who has an Aventador S, 458, and NC1 This owner added it a while ago, is frequently on the owner's group, and constantly raves about the NC1. I think we all get that kind of "yup, you know" type of vibe from each other...

    Driving my NSX to work

Amen. I can't believe the amount of attention and positive feedback I get in my NC1. Even at cars and coffee next to other super cars.

    Maintenance costs and reliability

Agreed, my coverage is less than $1800 for $150k stated value coverage with no mileage limitations, full liability, and uninsured / underinsured coverage. This car is a Honda...I can't imagine a company not insuring this car...they must be out of their minds.

I love Casino White. It is stunning every day and twice on Sunday. However, I also love blue. So I may snag a second NC1 in blue one of those days. I seem to love the white and blue combo. :) PS - you might find yourself with heavy competition to get a NC1 at a good deal. Some current NC1...

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

I think the smart money is either that, or a NC1 at a low price now for the next few years. These cars are incredible and the value will go up. People just have no idea what they are getting for the money. I will be keeping an eye out for a steal on a second NC1 over the next few years and...

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

I'm not sure where you are getting NC1 = McLaren maintenance costs from. They are definitely not the same. One is a Honda, the other is...British. I shopped McLaren before deciding on the NC1. McLaren oil change = $1k or more annually. NC1 = $300 - $400, and can be done at home if you have the...

***STICKY*** Gen1 NSX Current Market Analysis

In our private NC1 owner's group there are quite a few first time NSX buyers for the NC1, and quite many previous owners like me. We chatted about the C8, marvel at the hype. We love all cars, but we especially love the NC1 because we had to go seek it out to buy it. We weren't cross shopping...

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

I love manuals. My 91 had a 6 speed na2 transmission with 4.55 final gear ratio. It was a blast. At one time all my vehicles were manuals - 2 NSXs, 1 Ford Focus ST, and 1 manual truck. So my love for manual transmissions is unequivocal. However, the NC1 transmission is so fast, smooth, and...

***STICKY*** Gen1 NSX Current Market Analysis

c8 won't affect gen2 market either. Buyers are completely different. Most of the gen2 owners may own a c8 as a beater, not as a replacement for the NC1. Many gen2 owners also have gen1 nsx and can easily afford c8 as an extra car, if desired.

Cant decide... Older NSX vs. New Nsx Owner comparisons?

I had my 91 NSX for 15 years (heavily upgraded), and a 97 NSX for over 1 year. I've had my 2017 NSX for over 2 years. I love all of the NSXs. However, I prefer my 2017 NSX over the na1 / na2, because it is such a thrill to drive and feels like owning 3-4 different cars in one vehicle, and...

Out with the R8, in with the NSX . . .

I too have a Casino White with red calipers. Are you in the Phoenix area? We should get together and meet. Very small group indeed. Will be great to have a get together.

Congrats!! Are you in the Phoenix area? I too purchased my car from Acura of Tempe, but in 2017. Would love to meet & greet as we are possibly one of the smallest owners groups in the area.

Out with the R8, in with the NSX . . .

Congrats!! Are you in Phoenix area? I've had mine since 2017 and know most of the local owners from 2017, but have not met any new owners recently. We should get together on a meet & greet and possibly a drive as well.

Just went from 2017 NSX to 2019 NSX

Awesome post and review. I am a member of the private FB 2nd gen NSX group but I despise how FB filters and sorts stories so I never see good stuff like this posted unless I spend hours on FB combing through every post. I'm glad you posted it here. I've owned my 2017 since Nov 17, and have...

    Maintenance costs and reliability

oil change on front motors, clutch / trans fluid change ever 2-3 years, really? Is this mileage dependent as some of us drive ours very little. Any source on this info with more detail and cost?

    1991 NSX coupe Red/Black 6-Speed 50447 mile JH4NA1159MT000293

Sold!! Despite my very best restrained efforts in selling her, hoping she would stay with me longer. She has been delivered to an excellent new home. I shall miss her terribly, but glad new owner is going to really enjoy her, and take amazing care of her like I have.

    1991 NSX coupe Red/Black 6-Speed 50447 mile JH4NA1159MT000293

Gentle bump after 6 month. This NSX is amazing. Part of me can't bear the thought of letting it go, but I just don't have enough time to enjoy this NSX and my 2017 NSX. Too many cars and too little time. A lucky buyer will luck out on this car.
