In the interest of keeping this derailed thread on topic, here are pics of a run of headlight caps (before dropping off at anodize) AND my garage (this building is attached to my house). If anyone wants a headlight cap, most are spoken for but I have one or two sets available.
I'll concede that certain things, when designed properly, can be passable. Also, these days it's sort of an inside joke with myself when I rag on 3d printers (and people typically don't agree with me, which is fine)
I'm mainly speaking of FDM printers, when I rant about this stuff. We have...
Yeah I mean it’s hard to compete with a 3d printer in terms of total cost, but I really despise using 3d printers for functional prints. Personal preference.
They’re the same depth as these:

I guess I wasn't so much planning on selling them, I agree and don't think that would be terribly cost effective. Can you even see them when they're installed? I'll whip some up and then give it a look. Mostly just using what I have available.
Anyone have a compelling reason not to make these dust caps out of aluminum? I don't have a 3d printer, but I do have a 1/2 million dollars worth of CNC machines in my home garage. I could bang out a set of four in an hour and wouldn't have to deal with any cracking... Will transfer heat a...

Your car is going to look awesome though.
Happy to pay for one. I have the free USDM one. I guess just the JDM electrical section would be enough, but a complete (and preferably printed) copy would be totally great. Thanks.
Howdy,
Looking to have a timing belt done on my 91 and doubt I can commit the time to do it myself. I'm in Buffalo, NY. After searching Source1 comes up, but that's 6 hours away and that's a lot of coordinating. I'd be willing to drive an hour or so, though.
Would prefer someone who can tell...
Right, I know it's a bit of a "how long is a stick" question, but I'm wondering if there is anything major that jumps out as a "holy heck don't buy this car for that price."
I am indeed in the USA. I did have a RHD S13 as a kid and I don't remember it being too terribly challenging. I think...
I’m getting closer to pulling the trigger on getting a RHD NSX (just a childhood dream) and I’ve found this car in the states for around 90k.
The cluster was replaced with a spoon cluster at some point so miles are unknown.
Underside is mostly clean with some surface rust. The red door panels...
