Road and Track just named the new NSX their 2017 Performance Car of the year. Their praise was glowing, opening with:
Receiving eight of the available 10 votes, the Acura NSX became the most universally acclaimed automobile in PCOTY history, and justifiably so. Its predecessor merely changed the supercar game in the perpetuity by proving that anvil-like reliability and the ecstatic revelation of exotic performance could coexist in a single value-priced sports. This one promises to do much more than that.
Honda just released a new video for the second generation NSX showcasing the Sport Hybrid All Wheel Drive system (SH-AWD) by using the car to draw a giant pattern in the ground at El Mirage Dry Lake in California.
During a test drive of the new NSX on the north coast of Taiwan, a journalist ran the car into the concrete barrier separating the lanes of the road. The impact was hard enough to set off the airbags. The journalist claimed he was stung by a bee, causing him to lose control of the car.
It is unclear whether the bee was “huge” and “sting crazy.”
