Malibu Canyon Drive, May 20, 2001

Here are a few photos from the May 20, 2001 Malibu Canyon Drive. We topped out at 13 cars for the day. The day started off by meeting at the Moorpark MetroLink station. After a brief driver's meeting, we rolled out and headed up into the hills, eventually ending up for pizza while in Ojai. Lunch was great, and conversation was even better. Tina raffled off so much stuff that everyone was a winner. I was the lucky winner of the Viagra Racing Team shirt, but Lee was kind enough to take it off my hands. (Phew.) Even better, we hogged up the parking area so much that it prevented a later arriving Alfa car group from parking together. Sorry. After that, Sam put on a little burnout display, and that was followed by more and more canyon driving. Eventually, we ended up at Coogie's Diner for some eats. Overall, we had a great time and I look forward to doing it again in the future. It was really great to meet everyone during the drive. Now I can finally associate a specific face with a username especially after corresponding through the NSXPrime Forums for such a long time. Special thanks go out to John & Craig for planning out the route. Things seemed to run smoothly and traffic didn't seem to be too much of a problem. Also, Tina did a great job in getting all the cool prizes.
