'Twas The Night Before NSX-MAS

by Mike Omlin

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house;
Not a creature was stirring, not even my mouse,

The pooter's shut down, for it's holiday nap;
While grasping my keys, I stare at the map,

The fluids are changed and the tread is brand new;
It's time for the drive, that's experienced by few,

The gifts were all crammed, in the trunk space so small;
I made one last check, as I rushed down the hall,

I dug out the list and I checked it twice;
It was loaded with kids, both naughty and nice,

Then out to the NSX, I crept this cold night;
As I smiled to myself, at its wonderful site,

Into the beauty, I shoved my big frame;
The seat all the way back, my belly to blame,

I fired up the V-TEC, its sound oh so sweet;
And pressed at the dashboard, to give me some heat,

She slid into gear, with the flash of my hand;
Now every last horsepower, was at my command,

Up through the gears, as it was starting to snow;
I even had time, for some heal and toe,

It was off thru the stars, on my annual flight;
Merry NSX-mas to all and to all a good night!
