Does Anyone Have Dealer or Service Center Recommendations?

The best way to find out which dealers do good work on NSXs is word-of-mouth from other NSX owners. If you can't find a dealer listed here that is recommended by other owners, ask around. You can also discuss their experience with the service manager and technician at your local dealership to get a feel for how much they know about the car.

PLEASE let other NSX owners know about your experiences with various Acura service centers! It's easy - just e-mail your reviews and they will be included here to help other NSX owners decide where to go (and where to avoid!)

You might also want to see the list of Acura's "Precision" dealers.

What Are The Qualifications For NSX Techs?

[A/H] There are 3 different kinds of NSX techs. The entry level tech is called a PDI tech (pre delivery inspection). They are only allowed to perform certain tests on the car when it first arrives at a dealership.

Second is a line tech. They can do much more but are handicapped by what courses they have taken and passed. And there is a course for everything. Driveability, maintenance, SRS systems, ABS, valves... you get the point.

When you complete all of these you are bestowed the highest honor; MASTER TECHNICIAN!!

There are about 6 schools spread throughout the country that conduct these classes. These guys are the best of the best and take their work very seriously.
