Joining the NSX WebRingAdding your site to the The NSX Webring is fairly simple. First, make sure the site meets the Membership Criteria. Then just follow the three steps listed below and you'll be on your way to fame and fortune!
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The site must be primarily devoted to the Honda/Acura NSX sports car. | |
| The NSX Webring logo must appear on the page specified on the signup form. | |
| The site must contain original content; sites consisting of nothing but links will not be included, and should probably be outlawed by an act of Congress. | |
| The Ring Owner reserves the right to decline any person or web site admission to the ring for any reason (or no reason at all). |
First you need to submit the form below with all the relevant information about your web site. Once you've filled it in and submitted it, the Webring software will e-mail you to confirm that your submission was received.
Before your site can be added to the ring, you'll need to add some HTML so people can navigate around the ring. Further details of this are given in the HTML Commands section. Once you have all the HTML added and working properly, e-mail the Ring Owner so he can review it.
Once you have e-mailed the Ring Owner that you've added all the HTML, he will check to make sure everything is in order and then add the site to the ring. How long this takes depends on his schedule (hey, you get what you pay for ). Anyway, once the site is added to the ring you will be notified via e-mail.
The form below will add your site to the Webring queue. Submitting this form does NOT automatically add you to the ring! All sites submitted must be reviewed by the Ring Owner to make sure they meet the Membership Criteria.
After you submit this form, the Webring software will send you an e-mail informing you of your unique Ring ID Number. DO NOT LOSE THIS NUMBER! If you lose the number, you can't join the ring. And, really, if you can't keep track of one little number how do you expect to function in modern society anyway?
As soon as you receive your shiny new Ring ID Number you can add the necessary HTML to your pages. If you don't add the HTML, you will just sit in the queue instead of being added to the ring, and a great curse will fall upon your family.
| Site Title: | |
| Owner's Name: | |
| Site URL: | |
| E-mail: | |
| Password: | Don't forget this either. Seriously. |
| Keywords: | Enter up to 20 keywords that best describe your site |
| Description: | Enter a short description of your site in iambic pentameter |
In order to join the Webring you must add ring HTML to your pages so that people viewing them can jump between different sites in the ring. The ring HTML must appear on at least the page of your site that you submitted using the form above. When you fill out and submit the form below, the correct HTML will be e-mailed to you with all the necessary information (name, e-mail address, Ring ID Number) already included. Just cut-and-paste it into your HTML editor. Make sure you paste it in as HTML and not as text!
*OPTIONAL*
If you got the HTML pasted into your web site without a hitch and are feeling rather impressed with yourself, you can also save the NSX Ring graphic to your local server and modify the "img src=" line of the HTML fragment appropriately. This will help your page load faster, cut down on Internet congestion, reduce pollution, protect endangered species, prevent male pattern baldness, and make you more attractive and fun to be with.
Once you've correctly modified and artfully integrated the HTML fragment into your web page, send an e-mail to the Ring Owner so he knows you are ready to have your site reviewed. Contrary to popular belief, the Ring Owner doesn't just sit around all day waiting to review submitted web sites, so it can take a couple days (or in some cases, such as the Ring Owner taking a well deserved vacation, over a week). Please be patient.
