Removing Gear Knob

I have a new Momo gearknob and I want to swap it for the current one in my '91 NSX - does anyone know how to remove the gearknob, as it does not seem obvious?

Just pull the boot downward from the knob. Then unscrew the knob.

Yep - that worked! I was afraid to use force, but it just clips on.
