Don't forget that leather and vinyl are two entirely different materials, one natural and one synthetic, and you should be using a different product for each of them. You can check the
FAQ to see which surfaces are made of which (and some of them may surprise you).
Zymol makes two products that are terrific for the interior.
Zymol Treat is for the leather surfaces. It's great! It contains beef collagen, the same natural oil that keeps the cowskin soft and supple when it's still on the cow. As it says on Zymol's website:
"Sunlight, heat and everyday use will permanently damage the delicate finish of your leather upholstery. The denaturing process of leather tanning removes precious moisture residing in the hide. Introducing solvent-based conditioners accelerates aging in leather upholstery and trim. zymöl Treat Leather Conditioner is a solvent-free, banana-oil and collagen-based feeding product that releases trapped solvents and restores moisture to keep your leather looking, feeling, and smelling like new."
Zymol Vinyl is another great product, and can be used on all the vinyl surfaces, including the dashboard and the other hard and soft plastic surfaces on the interior. It leaves a satiny sheen and a pleasant, understated fragrance. Again, from the website:
"Heat, cold, washing and exposure to solvent-based cleaners and run-of-the-mill treatments damage the finish of your vinyl upholstery and vinyl trim. Some vinyl manufacturing methods use formaldehyde as the base. Introducing solvent- or formaldehyde-based treatments can accelerate vinyl deterioration by changing the original chemical balance. zymöl Vinyl Conditioner is a solvent-free, formaldehyde-free, oil-based feeding product that releases solvents and restores moisture."
Zymol products contain all natural ingredients, and you can see exactly what ingredients are contained in each of their products, right on their website. These are not some "mystery concoctions" that are cooked up in someone's garage.
You can buy Zymol products direct from their
