Would it make sense that images used for 'avatars' in the forums be automotive-related? I'm seeing more and more non-NSX avatars... these forums are supposed to be about the NSX, right?
to me this forum is about intelligent nsx or related exotic conversation, but in the end we are all individuals. I have no problem with avatars reflecting individual personalities, thus would be against this proposal.
I'd rather that our avatars reflect what we individuals want them to reflect. Though I personally would like everyone to use their own car as their avatar (so I can SEE what their ride looks like), this forum wouldn't be the same without FAQ Nazi's "Soup Nazi" avatar...

I disagree. By definition, an avatar represents me, not the property I own. My avatar is a design I feel communicates for me personally and my signature has my car in it.
After, my car is not the one writing these posts.

Don't no nuttin 'bout birthin' no babbies.
I would second Justin's and David's posts. These forums have been a welcomed departure from the business strict NSX lists. This is where I come to relax. I enjoy the humor in David's and other's avatars.
Although, I'm not trying to put a smack down on EDR's suggestion. I am just voicing an opinion, and you know what they say about opinions...
I would second Justin's,David's and Chris's posts. If you want your car to be seen, then you would post pictures in the Gallery, and or on your avatar. YOUR choice. Offending avatars probably wouldn't fly to well and I'm sure LUD will weed out those. Freedom of choice should prevail. My .01 worth, John.
i think whatever kind of avatar a person wishes to be represented by is groovy - auto or not. me? i'd use Queen's logo but it's copyrighted and i'm not payin' fees :> )
