developed virtual colonoscopy by now) and with new technology to share
with the rest of humanity!(or at least those that want their NSX to go
faster)

is it really $4000? How long do they last compare to Comptech powergrip clutch(driven in the same manner of course) ? It looks very nice indeed.

Hi MiaMia,

Yes, that is the price. From what Tilton tells me they should outlast the car. When they finally do wear out, only the 3 CF disks need to be replaced, for a mere $2K.

The entire CF clutch package weighs ~12 lbs. and the TOTAL MOI is ~ HALF that of just my Tilton/Dali lite fly that we make for the OEM style clutch which was already the lightest aftermarket flywheel with the lowest MOI that you can buy for the NSX.(now the one in this kit is

Dynojet graphs will be posted after we get back from Pahrump.

Any driving impressions of the clutch yet? Will there be one available that works with the 6-speeds?

Hi Lud,

We are installing that in the CC next week - the prototype was installed in the Tilton engineers RX7 for me to try and we went ahead from there. I had a surprise opportunity this week to get the new BBSC COOLant tanks started being made and the new (not on the site) race radiators fabbed this week, as well as the remote oil filter/cooler hooked up so the clutch install was pushed back to next week. Mark Basch says we will have it at the Firebird track on 12/1/01 for demo's etc.

We were not able to make one CF clutch/fly combo that would fit both transmissions so I made the one that would fit in my car first

that way if I only sold one to myself, at least I could have fun driving it.

If there is enough interest (as in $$$ on the table) I'll make one for the 6 speed.
