One badass machine,
Yes, had a chance to get a ride in Sinbad's car yesterday at NSX modified. His car is absolutely amazing!! These are just a few mods on his car....this guy is an absolute NSX fanatic, someone stop him?!?
Rebuild NSX motor:
JE forged Pistons (low compression), decked block, and o-ringed...not sure if he changed the rods though.

Weight Reduction: Removed his head unit from before (amp, sub, dvd player), sound system, air-conditioning/heater, recaro carbon fiber seats, and some TE37s.

Exhaust/Diffuser: Sinbad uses a Ferrari 355 Challenge exhaust. He also made his own rear diffuser from HONEYCOMB, it looks very similar to the taitec diffuser but just 10X better.

Comptech Supercharger: Yes, it is the 9lb one.

Imperssion: Started the car, and Sinbad gave a few quick revs. This exhaust is LOUD!!! Yes, I have heard GruppeM and Tubi, but nothing compared to this exhaust. Could bearly hear the words from Sinbad's mouth....drove the car to a local street (11:00pm at night) and he floored it. Saw the speedometer and was at 100 mph in a matter of seconds!!! This car has amazing torque and power. Very comparable to my car when it was boosting at 9-10 pounds initally. The exhuast lets out this high pitched tune at around 7000 rpm, and sorry, I could not describe how great the feeling was. Sinbad gave me a little smirk and said,
" Hey boy, it's not over yet!"
He made a sharp right turn at at speed of 50+! The car handled like a champ. Also made a couple of additional turns, and he hits the gas before correcting the steering wheel. Yes, I almost crapped in my pants, and luckly we're alive.

Conclusion: Sinbad wants to to do more weight reduction in the future. He was thinking about removing the ABS, but Larry strongly refused it.
What really suprised me was that Sinbad later told us that he decided to put Larry's turbo back in, and is probably going to run 10-12 pounds ballpark. Guess he missd his turbo too much???

Sinbad's motor has the low compression pistons, sleeves and o-rings. He does not have a decked block. The seats in his car are Sparco Carbon fiber seats, not Recaro.

Sinbad had the motor built for running higher boost with a turbo. The 9lb Comptech is something to keep him temporarily satisifed for a little bit until he gets his HKS GT ball bearing turbo back from Japan.

Low compression pistons w/CTSC? One might expect it to be slower than with stock compression unless there are other tricks. Perhaps not retarding the timing as much given the lower comp?

Sinbad's car is VERY,VERY,VERY, fast. He gave me a ride on Thursday... OMG it was sooo fun. Totally gave me a new image of the Comptech SC! It would have given my TT a run for its money!

The exhaust note is beyond description. As Jack said it is LOUD but it sounds GREAT! I was also extremely impressed with the clutch too. It was so smooth and to top it all off, Sinbad can drive like he is an Andretti

Tons of fun and most of all, Sinbad is a really nice guy. He does the funniest Al Pachino "Scarface" impersonation.

PS. Jack, it was very nice to meet you that night! Thank you again for the ride in your single turbo! Yours is VERY fast too! The best part about your car is that it feels and sounds totally stock while driving around town. Once you step on it, it turns into a nasty BEAST. VERY nice

THis car is so damn CRAZY and the owner is too....its fun being around him...

There are about 6 gauges where the AC & Radio are suppose to be....plus about 10 toggle switches, and 4 push buttons...it looks like something out of the F&F movie...

It makes you want to jump in and start flipping switches for the hell of it!

Dont forget the shiny floorboards or whatever they are running underneath the car..so its a total flat surface under there...hahhaa

I couldnt stop thinking about it...

Sinbad,

Is a nice guy but, a friggin NSX nut! That guy gutted his interior and is installing a carbon fiber middle console with the toggles taking care of everything. He was nice enough to let me sit in the car and "play" the the toggles.
As for the sound of the car? Awesome! That thing just rips, he blipped the throttle a few times and my ears were bleeding.
Swhishh, why didn't you give me a ride in your car? I want to know what TT in an NSX feels like.
