I currently have a RM 70 Dry Nos. How much work/money will it take to increase up to 100 or 120 shot Nos? Is it a simple change or Do i need to purchase a new system?
Can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm in Irvine, California.

Bamboo- it's most likely a jetting in your nozzle. Easier if youre on a dry shot. Going 120 you will most likely need some fuel enrichment of some type.

I'm In orange County. Can anyone refer me to a good shop that can help me increase to 120 shot.

Bambookid,
Check your spark plugs. If they are platinum spark plugs pull them. You need to go with about 2 degrees colder copper plug.

Bamboo, stay with the 70 shot that is working fine and not thrashing your motor and check your plugs like rob stated. if you must go with a larger shot and wont be talked out of it please private me ,I have some information to share with you
best regards David

Also, if you go with a larger shot you must have a wet kit... You will need the suplemental fuel. Don't want to run lean. I would dump the RM kit and call David to talk to him about his wet kit. (Badcarma)

Hey NSXLOVER, Badcarma:
Thanks for all the warnings and input. I think I'll just stick with the 70 shot dry Set up. Currently I do have platinum NGK plugs. IS this ok for 70 shot. Also, I have Comptech headers, bypass pipes and a fuel regulator. I think I'm pretty safe with this. What do you think?

Bamboo, glad to here it! although you do need to change your plugs asap. this is just my personal rec but I am running: COPPER spray= copper plugs
NGK R5671A-7 plugs gapped at .35 yes .35 oem plugs are gapped at .44 per manual but if your gonna spray goe with the 35 if you have any issues split the difference and gap say .40
best regards David

I have 75 wet on my NSX. Before I got it every one told me NOT to run DRY on NSX. The car will run lean for short spikes and slowly it might develop problems. With wet you can't go wrong.

You can alwasy upgrade to wet kit by buying additonal fuel solenoid and use diffrent nozzle. I would say like $150.

I would change the plugs ASAP. I blew my engine because the shop that installed the NOS kit did not change to a copper plug. Please take it from me. My car has been out of comission for 6 months now. It will finally be completed next Friday.

this is for Kathleen,I lost your email concerning you request for NOS instructions pertaining to your setup
please email me again and I would be pleased to provide the info you need
best regards David

I got my wet NOS kit from ebay for $300.
Nitrous Express I think is little better design. Much bigger solenoids and I think it is better then NOS and the price is the same the only thing is you get white buttle insted of blue

Then I got nice short cables from summitracing.com for another $90. So I don't have 25 feet of cable running in the car

Yea, I changed my plugs for the ZEX plugs and they work good

I am running a 150 shot on my car. Started out with a 75, went to 100 and said what the hell and went to 150. At 150 it is too much for a stock engine. I would stay at 100 with stock internals. I had problems because of the spark plugs, don't know if I had the correct plugs what would have happened. The 150 shot is a big kick in the ass. Turbo's or SC's don't feel the same. The only drawback to NOS is that it is not on all the time. I got a remote bottle opener so I can open it on the fly. I also have the Nitrous Express kit.

ngk bkr7e first choice they come gapped at .35 second choice is the ngk bkr7e-11 (11 specs the oe .44 gap). so to sum it up the plugs I run may not work well for you (NGK R5671A-7 ) these are in my car. if any doubt go with one of the others
