Hi Guys I am looking into buying an NSX I have always wanted one. The only thing I am worried about is will I be able to fit in it. I am almost 6-5 and about 230 pounds. what do you guy think ?

Try one.

It's also worth noting that some of the taller folks remove the bottom seat cushion and either remove some of the padding from it or replace it with the thin version sold by Dali Racing.

I'm 6'5" about 205lb. Fit fine except for hair brushes against roof with seat slightly upright and head hits roof (at rear targa roll bar) if seat reclined all the way back. I would guess the thin lower seat cushion would fix this. But since I'm still looking for the right affordable car I can't be 100% sure.

This really comes up a lot, and Ken is right, try one.

I am also 6'5" and 230 lbs and fit reasonably well in my car without mods, but that doesn't mean you will.

If you are shorter in the legs, and tall in the torso, prepare to do some mods to the seat to fit comfortably. If you are all legs, like I am, you might find the coupe acommodating.

Great question. I am 6'3" 195 and I have to scoot the seat up a couple of notches. I don't even fit in other cars like 355's 911's and such. I also know that Clyde Drexler (NBA Star of the 90's) had an NSX that he took the driver seat off of the tracks and mounted it directly on the floor...all the way back and got pleanty of leg and head room. He is 6'7" I think.

Roadflyer,

The other thing to consider is Coupe vs. "T". I believe you get at least an addition 1" of headroom with the coupe. The "T" top is thicker do to it's removable construction.

A coupe with the Dali cushion will give you the most head room.

Take it from a guy who knows

. (Most folks who know me know I am 5'4" !!!!LOL.....)

As the soon to be owner of both a coupe and "T", I will be able to say this with some certainty, but as of now I do not believe one has more headroom. The roof is not shaped the same due to the removable top, but unless the seat is all the way back to the firewall, then that is not an issue. I almost feel that the Targa has a slight edge, but then you run into the thickened part of the roof support at the C-pillar. Ask me again next week!
