Questions about Volk GT-C's

I'm looking to switch to Volk GT-C's in 18/19 and was wondering if anyone who is running these knows the proper offset (the yellow '92 w/ the CT widebody has these I think). Also, what is the difference b/w "face 1" & "face 2" and is it common to run the same face types front & back or 1 for the front & 2 for back? Thanks!

Although I am not sure for the exact offset of 18/19, I know that GT-Cs for NSX will consist of face 1 front, and face 2. Face 2 has concave spokes that will allow much wider lip. I have asked around whether you could fit face 2 front and rear, and the answer was no.

GT-c

I have these in a 17/18 combo. You do not have to run the face-2's if you do not want to. Check out the avatar.

My size for the front is a 17x8 w/ 40 mm offset and 18x10 w/ 43mm rear.

Hope this helps

Cool I have the same rims in Mercury Silver on my blue.

Hi Eddie,

According to Rays website, the offsetts for the NSX in 8" widths being the smallest front would be +24 and +17 for 10' rears. Seems kinda small to me.

Just my opinion face 1 all around looks great like on tans car.

I am sorry. What do you mean by the above statement? With the aforementioned offsets, all 4 wheels will stick outside the fenders so they do not fit the stock NSX.

All i am saying is ... in the set up museum of the rays webite indicated offsets for that width are is as they show it ....

Chill out, man. I was not picking on you. This is all for sake of discussion.Seriously, I had no idea of what you said above including your "personal comment." Could you clarify? I myself am looking at the TE37 18/19 set up and I am trying to figure out the lowest offsets that will still fit a lowered NSX.

well lets see. I meant almost exactly what you stated. That the offsetts they have are small in number ( i thought default was around +40) yet they have it as +17 hence, "sound kinda small to me" small in number not in physical size or distance form fender. Looks like the NSX they have may have a widebody kit, but im not sure but the +17 looks pretty flush with the fenders on that car. Most places I talked to recommended at least +40. Thats all I got and thats why i said sounds kinda small.

chudson - I am considering buying the GT-C wheels for a blk/blk 1991, but I can't seem to find them on 17/18, only 18. Where did you buy the 17 in wheel? Also what was the cost, what tire are you using and are you happy with the whole package? Thanks

Sorry BMiller I haven't been on the board lately. I bought mine from a local shop here in Charleston. The 17's were a dime a dozen - the 18x10's took forever. The shop www.randdmotorsports.com talk to David. Tell him I sent you.

Don't know why Tan, MSN pics don't like being linked to - even cut & paste into new browser doesn't work
Best bet is to download it then scale to size to attach directly

To settle this.. I have the Ray's catalog at hand with a much bigger and better resolution picture. If you look closely this NSX is flared... wide fender kit installed.

+24 frt and +17 rear on the setup museum would not work on stock NSX body. Offset is way too small.
