Light went out on my front

Guys,

This is a very simple question. The light under my headlight went out the other night. I am not sure what to call it though. Running light? Parking light? Anyway, it is the light just under the headlight that somewhat wraps around the outside front of the bumper.

Can I buy a replacement light at Autozone? Is this something I can swap out easily?

Thanks for answering my question.

Its called the combination light (combo of front position/parking & turn signal lights)
See the manual http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Reference/1991_svcman/1991servman.pdf - highlight the box at the bottom that says page 1 of 1420 & type in page # 1177 (Enter) instead to take you to the specific section; this shows you how to remove the combination light assembly. It actually says to remove the screw (Phillips), but it will not come out - the screw is held captive so just turn it until the light comes loose & pop it out.
The bulbs are a 5W wedge type & available just about anywhere! Part # type is a 168 or 3652 - you might take the opportunity to get a pair of the super-whites that are available.

D'ecosse,

Thank you very much for the reply!

Could you please tell me what the "super whites" are? Do they look different.

I also wanted to say thank you with my wheel search. I bought my wheels from the place you recommended(wheeloptions). I went with the Volk GTp. I will show some pics soon.

Thanks again!

I had the same problem about two months ago. Replacing the bulb is not difficult but you will need a pretty long screwdriver to get to the screw. Apart from that it's an easy install.

I had to replace the drivers side on my 96 as well.

As I said, I would be tackling this issue this weekend. Anyway, I am about to go out to pick up the light when my roomate tells me that my light is now working and that he forgot to tell me. Sure enough the light is now working.

Does anyone have any ideas why my light did not work for a week straight, and now it works again?

Thanks guys!

Sure, the filament could be unattached at one end, inside the bulb and with the movement of the car, touches the contact and goes back on. If this is the case it's not going to last anyway.
Keep any eye on it after you change it.
It could be a intermittent wire problem but I doubt it

Thanks for the replies. This is turning in to something downright comical though. For some reason, the left side is now out haha. I'm not joking.

I am going to the store tomorrow to replace all of them I guess. Can I buy these super whites at Wal Mart? Autozone?

Thanks a lot guys.
