Don't know how they got there, but the front of my daily driver is covered w/pin head sized white paint specks all the way up to my headlights. Like to keep my cars clean as I can and this thing looks like it went through a small sand storm and the car is black too.

Have tried clay bar and even tar/bug removal with no results. Any suggestions would be helpful from those whom have knowledge on how to get rid of this stuff w/o damaging the paint!!!

Come on guys, I've nearly seen cival wars over Zymol & Zaino in threads before. You guys are experts are you not. Has no one ever had to deal w/this before or am I looking at a body shop wet sand?

i belive there was a thread that covered this in the past and please dont quote me but ....i belive it said to start with something gentle and easy and work your way up the abrasive scale.....try some Zymol HD Cleanse and if that dont work then maybe some Scratch X . I have in the past used WD-40 to get paint off and in worse cases a light compound .....and i always wash n wax the spot after.

Tom, sounds like you got into some street striping paint. Someone ahead of you probably ran through it creating a paint mist so to speak. Wet sanding is most likely going to be your only option. I used to work for the people who paint the streets and its very stubborn stuff to get off. They used to buy numerous paint jobs for people every time they brought out the striping machine. But unless you know when and where it happened proving their liability would be very hard. :(
