Where can I buy this window lubrication? I have me door panel off me car right now.

The FAQ says that it is High Temp Urea Grease part # 08798-9002

Would Pep Boys have something like this?

Guys, I forgot to add that I would like a bit of guidance as to how to lubricate the tracks and regulator.

In the FAQ it says, "You should lubricate the regulator and window guide tracks periodically."

When I peel back the clear plastic cover behind the door panel, will I see these tracks? What do they look like?

Please don't laugh guys, I don't have a lot of experience with this stuff.

I used some high-temp grease (Valvoline), the kind you can find at any auto part store.

After you peel the cover back, you will see part of the tracks through the openings in the door. They are unfinished aluminum (silver) and oriented veritically. There are three tracks including the center one for the regulator.

It's not too hard - good luck. :)

I bought the grease from my local Acura dealer. The part number you listed is direct from Honda. I'm sure any will work. Once you get in there you will notice the tracks. I put the grease on my fingers and ran them up and down the inside of the tracks as far as I could reach. Then run the window up and down a few times to spread it out some more, then repeat until it is covered.

Pep boys would have high temp white lithium grease, peel that plastic off SLOWLY as not to rip it. When I lubricated the drivers side regulator I removed it by disconnecting it from the window. I wanted to make sure that regulator was lubed. I felt removing the regulator to lube it was a waste of time and did not remove the passengers side. Lube up the cable, guide, etc...basically the stuff you see once you're in there. Don't get any grease on the window though, for it will appear on the window every time you retract the window for a while. Ask me how I know that last one.

Thanks a lot for the responses guys. I will be going to Pep Boys tomorrow to purchase some of this grease.

Right now I am trying to roll my window up while the door panel is off so I can see if I have the updated window plastic things.

Thanks again.

have any of you greased the rails on the sides? is there an easy way to get to these?

Yes, I greased both front and rear rails, but they are a pain to reach. I suggest someone help you that has long skinny arms.
