Everyone.....what do you think something like this is worth? what kind of maintenance required to bring it up to par again? any concerns that i should have? btw, this won't be my everyday car...just something to play with.....any recomendation?

High mileage is not a problem with the NSX, and I think most other would agree with me on that. My red one had over 130,000 when it was crashed. Something like that, if everything is in working order, should be worth a little bit less, or a little more than 20,000 grand. At that mileage, the car is beyond the problem of the snap ring issue, because if it had happen, it already happened and was fived, hopefully.

high mileage

I bought an NSX with high mileage and now have 140001 miles on it. Runs really stong. I checked the whole car in and out. Gonna have it serviced soon just to have a sound mind. The paint and everything seems still new on the car aswell.

good luck.

something with this high of mileage depends on how much you would buy it for. 20000-25000.

thank you for you inputs....the car runs strong and the only thing that i can find wrong is the clutch--i may need to be replace. when i put my foot down, it feels really hard...harder than normal. ...perhaps, it is normal? another thing is.... the regular maintenance was done approx. 110K miles ago with the exception of the regular oil change....and the paint job is okay. what do you think a descent price should be in this market?

clutch

if the clutch seems really hard, its probably aftermarket or new. Soft and high revving with no go as you push the gas is what you want to look for. Slipping clutch. When i got mine, i was told it had its normal tune up done. I went and changed the oil again, plugs, tranny flush, radiator flush, inspected the under carrage for damage ect, That way I knew when it was done so I could start a new mileage service for myself when to do it next. As for the other maintenance like the timing belt, water pump, seals, accessory belts etc. Check if that was done, most people have them changed aswelll for a sound mind knowing it was done even if the previous owner said it was done, who knows maybe it wasnt or was. Anyways you can have them checked by a certified tech if it needs it so. \

Depending on int, ext, etc, post some pics, it would give a better guide for us viewing what it would be worth from a picture stand point.

good luck

Hi

I would check out values on as many cars of the same year as you can to get a good gauge. Also check:

# of owners
Carfax (of course!)
Was it ever hit?
Any chance of an odometer rollback?

I would take it to Acura for a comprehensive diagnostic check, and even check the engine compression if possible.

The car, if cared for, will most likely be fine. If however those are hard miles, you could be in for quite a ride, literally!

Good luck

I agree, I drove Syonara's 120k mile NSX, and it felt every bit strong as my car w/57k miles.
