gotten their clutch core refund back from Dali?

i am losing faith that i will EVER see that check. and i KNOW the clutch was rebuildable. mark won't return my emails after months of trying.
but ironically, it's like he's next door when i want to spend money.
go figure.

I am still waiting for mine also. The acura mechanic who put my clutch in also said that it was DEFINITELY rebuildable. $400 is a good chunk of change and I will not let it go.

Ps he is very efficient when I order things and never have had a problem, but this clutch issue is real BS.

Regards,
Danny

I am not trying to dis the guy on his birthday, he overnighted me a clutch and has taken care of my many nsx related needs. I just want my core refund back. Nothing negative against him whatsoever. I would even take a credit.

Regards,
Danny

wow

i guess he isn't really good about following through with core refunds.

if any of you have any luck, please share it with the rest of us. i'll do the same, but have a feeling that is unlikely to happen.

just got a reply from Mark including an updated tab showing a $400 credit for my old clutch core.

good luck the rest of you guys in sorting out your core refunds, I would add that I do not believe for one moment that any outstanding credits or refunds are in any way deliberate; more likely just overlooked & forgotten and, like mine, can be sorted with a polite reminder.
I say this only because I know that Mark files any emails that read like 'HEY A$$HOLE, WHERE'S MY F%&*ING CORE REFUND???' straight in the bin, and I'm sure that there's no satifaction to be gained for anyone by going down that route.

patient

yes, i agree. i don't think getting angry is the answer either. i have been extremely patient and civil regarding this matter and only expect the same from mark. especially since i am the customer.
i'm glad to see someone has gotten their refund. maybe there is hope.
all i ask is for a reply that says it's in the works, or whatever. simply ignoring merely results in more email inquiries.

btw, how long did you wait before getting the refund?

responded?

he has not replied since i mailed it to him.
i have since inquired maybe 6 to 7 times (not wanting to bug him too much). a simple reply would be sufficient. is that asking too much?

so now am i out the $400 in addition to the cost to send it to him?

i hope not.

i'll post if he comes through.

Hate to bring up an ancient thread back from the dead, but add me to the list of people who will never see their clutch core refund.

- sent my core to Mark on October 2002!!!
- last email response I got from him was January 2003.

I've been sending reminder emails once a month since then, and have had zero replies. I've decided to give up and just lose hope.

This is unfortunate, because he had always come through for me in the past.

In my case, the good clutch core was returned in March 2003 and I'm still waiting for my $400 over a year later. I never sent MJ an email stating anything remotely like "'HEY A$$HOLE, WHERE'S MY F%&*ING CORE REFUND???" On the contrary, appropriate kid gloves were used at all times yet when it became clear I really wanted my money, he stopped responding to my emails.

It seems alot of people have a problem with this. I just sent my core refund back to SOS and Im hoping that Chris and Seth are leniant with me since it took them 6 weeks to ship me my Spec Stage 1 and my NSX is my only car, so I drove around for 6 weeks with a clutch that was starting to go. Michael at MCA Motorsports says that the clutch was bad but rebuildable, so we'll see.

Does anyone else here find Dali's website to be a joke? "Hal is looking shit up" Yes I get the Odyssey reference, but c'mon. And the company for sale for $10 Mil, the dead bodies for sale and all that...I mean, SOS's site blows that away because they're organized and serious. Am I the only one?

No. Your not the only one. I decided I would never do business with Dali just based on how unprofessional the site looks, even before reading all the bad comments on the board. What amazes me is that he is still in business.

Glad to know its not just me. It feels like they won't even have it in stock if I buy it. And you can't ever find what you need really...everything seems to be all botched up. I like SOS: You want headers, you click on Headers, you want suspension, click on suspension...not brands. Oh well.
