Once again a faster time! 11.8s @ 119mph

You guys are kidding me about the NSX power department, right? My NSX, which is stock, but lighten ran a freaking 8.6 at the 1/8 as opposed to a blue ZO6 that ran a 8.5. Pretty fast, isn't it? because 8.6 in the 1/8 will transform into very low 13s at the quarter mile on an almost stock 92. Also, my buddy (Gomaidy) ended up smoking an EVO running a 8.7. The NSX has never, never felt weak to me.

WIZ- GREAT TIME!

NSXSAN- As much as I love the NSX, it does lack some top end. I get pulled by some American cars, Camaro SS, C5 and WS6 from like 80-100 or so. I have all the basic bolt ons, and then some...

Personally, I think the NSX, stock, is slow as crap. In the real world on the street, I hated to have to WORRY about WRX's and Z06's beating me. For $75-90k I want something that's going to kill anything in its class or lower. Hence the nitrous. Of course, much more is in store for the car, because even a 11.8 is slow to me. I'm used to high 10's - low 11's. :D

I don't know if it is slow as crap.. but it certainly is not fast by todays standards. With your car as it is now, it is near the top of the supercar standards. It is a shame NSX owners would have to spray to run with todays top cars.

imho, it's just another manifestation of the laws of "Evolution" (not the Mitsu, the Darwin one !) :D

Wow De, you ran a 7.6? thats what the bikes were running on Friday. When did you run the 1/8th, I thought you didn't have a helmet? I ran an 8.59 in the 1/8, 82.5 MPH with a 2.06 60foot. Not really impresive but not the slowest at the track.

Those of you who has never done timed drag racing should try it, its a lotta fun.

Sorry David,

8.6, not 7.6.

That was about 3 weeks ago with this Integra's guy helmet.

Tell you what: next time, you and I will run against each other when I am all ready to go. Maybe I should borrow Samson's helmet.

I raced every chances I get when the competition was right. Last week, a blue 350Z and a black stock RX7 with some kind of BOV had it on the freeway and from a stop. Got a couple of Porsches, too (the NA ones.) I lost to a silver 996TT, though, and my friend's blue ZO6. However, i think my clutch have had enough, and want to take a vacation

We may not be as fast, but our cars sure look alot more menacing then alot of the newer sports cars out there...so much that people in faster cars wont even look over, or even try going at it..

5inchfatlip.... you mean YOUR car looks alot more menacing! I wish my X looked as BadAss as yours, even if I can't beat a ZO6 or 996TT I would feel much better about myself ;)

I thought that is where the NSX shines:confused:

With bolt ons, I feel pretty comfy to line with the American Muscle @ 100 +

Jam- thanks for the compliments! there are a few wheel closeup pics in the wheel section..

Spartan- I have short gears and a early year NSX which kills a little top end, the 97 and up have I'm sure better top end. I feel like I am going fast when I punch it at 75 or so, but some of those cars "walk" me until I have to hit the squeeze.
:D
