Hello, I am looking for a 91-92 black nsx and i was wondering if i picked on up like 1k miles to across country and the car had not had its 60k check up, would it be safe to drive that long.

do a thourogh inspection and decide for yourself. i'm gussing it would be fine. BUT do you really wanna drive an NSX with a scary image behind the back of your head.

if you are really serious why don't you have the owner perform 60k tune up before you come by and just tell him that you will split the cost with him.

this way you can drive the car with peace of mind. all you have to think about is driving.

goodluck.

If you are buying a car at a distance and it will need some services, I reccommend negotiating that into the price and getting it serviced where you live. If something goes wrong with a serviced part or the service in general, your warranty will be local.

yea i would have to negotiate into the deal because they are both at dealerships. Are there any signs of wear on the timing belt showing when it should be replaced?

if you can see the timing belt fully, the cracks, and wear will be very visible. it is made out of rubber so it'll show.
