A buddy of mine just got a 2002 Viper ACR, he has been wanting one for a while. Any way he let me drive it the other night. Lots of power....not to bad of a ride. I thought the steering was pretty good. It would take awhile getting used to the power band. One thing I didn't like was the pedal set up...they are offset to the left slightly and the accelerator is longer and is bent towards the driver and interferes with your foot getting to the brake pedal. They also seemed to close to the driver, I not sure if they can be adjusted back.:p

hey there,

i also testdrove the ACR viper (2002) a while back when i was interested in one. i felt the same thing. i wasn't sure if my spine was going to be twisted after owning that car for a while:)

it sure has lots of power but all i can say is the new SRT-10 is much more comfortable and better looking.

i actually drove it to the point of using up all the gas. we ended up about 1/2 block away from the dealership when the viper wouldn't run anymore. they rolled over a tank of gas and took care of it.:)
