If the other new owners are posting, guess I should too. First off want to say thanks to Chris at SOS. I bought his '92 white / black. I was searching far and wide for a good manual X, but was only finding auto's, really beat cars, and one in particular it turned out the repo folks were after. Used car dealers were to into playing games, and I won't even get into the scary stuff on ebay! Chris was forthcoming with any problems the car had, took tons of pictures for me (I couldn't get away to check it myself)answered all my questions, and tolerated all the "Did it ship yet? Did it ship yet?" emails :)

The car arrived a little over a week ago. Hats off to Concours Transport! When my friends and I showed up he was unloading a '54 Mercedes 300 SL to get to my car. The '92 was traveling with good company :) Talked a bit with Mario, a really cool guy. Then the NSX was unloaded, and WOW! Looks awesome, inside and out! Alternated between gawking at the car and talking with Mario while my friends crawled all over it. With the Mercedes, NSX and a nice 192? Ford all lined up, traffic started picking up in the empty parking lot we were in :) Very fun afternoon! Took my friends for a quick spin as a payback for dropping me off, then it was back to the garage on account of impending rain.

I've managed about 600 miles so far, and could not be happier! It's such a blast to drive, everything from the handling, brakes, to the sound of the engine. The attention it gets will take some getting used to, but there's something about a passerby yelling "Dude! That car is tight as f**k! What is it?!" that kinda makes your day. Get a big grin on my face every time I'm in the garage, and I think that'll continue for a long while. Guess I'd be preaching to the choir here if I keep rambling on.

Thanks again Chris, and happy to be posting as an owner!

WoW!

It's a beauty. Feels good, uh? Congratulations. Keep us posted on your new ride.

damn dude thats clean...

Thanks all! Been zipping around Seattle every chance I get, and am hoping to get out of work for the weekend to run over the pass to Eastern Wa for a bit of a road trip.

Think I'll make me a new avator too :)

Very nice buy...... you will be very happy.

Glad to see another X making its way to washington. Seems like whenever i read the posts in the NW forum, its all from cali. We need to increase the population here in WA.

C'ya around sometime.

Noticed that about the NW forum as well. I've seen a few up here. There's a red one on 405 S occasionally going into work. There's a black automatic a dealer is selling in Kent that he's always driving around, and saw a white one on 104th two weeks ago.

That's just in the Renton area too!

Hmmmmm around tacoma i have only really seen mine and "Gene '96" from here on prime, and a black one that pops up every once in a blue moon.

We both have red ones..... but in puyallup i've seen one red, one silver, and one white.....

Never get a chance to talk to most of them since we are both passing each other going the opposite direction.

Once of these days i'll get out of work on time to make one of those meets up north.

TTYL, and maybe c'ya on the road

Did that hood come with the car? I'm thinking of changing sometime soon but want to get the 'right' one.
What about the 'Honda' badge on the front cover. Did that come also?

Yup, the hood and Honda badge came with the car. I really like the hood, and it gets alot of compliments as well.

The badge caused the opposite problem I was expecting. Instead of "Why the Honda emblem on the nose?" when showing somebody the car, I'm constantly asked "Why does it say 'Acura' on the tail?" :) Since nearly everything else on the car is 'Honda' I'm tempted to pull the lense apart on the tail and change it to 'NSX' or just leave it empty.

I have a few more hood pics if you'd like to see them.

Learning quickly

Martin is already learning the NSX real fast. The wipers are already off the car! That was my first mod.

Congrats on your purchase!

Martin, so you are the one who stole my beloved car!!!

You know I'm the second one respond to his for sale post (I emailed him early in the morning.) only found out someone called him and Chris not going to sell the car to me....

Chris gave me a ride long time ago on that car (no, he doesn't know me, that's how nice of him.) and it's this car making me that "I can have a nsx, NOW." I bought a red one soon after Chris deal fell.

I still love the white nsx...

Are you going to be the nsx meet this Saturday?? Please let me know if you want more info.

You also want to watch out for your key, cuz I might steal your car....:D just kidding. If you show up, it will be cool...
I just can't believe you are also in Seattle, I just kept telling myself some local punk(at Chris area) bought it.... *#@%%$!**

I was living in the "For Sale" forum for a looong time trying to snag one! They seem to be quite rare (at least any for sale) up here.

This weekend I'm heading back over to Yakima. My brother just picked up a 3000 GT VR4 and wants me to show him some maintenance tips. That, and my dad wants to check out the NSX, so who am I to say no? :D It's a monthly gathering? I can definately try for the next one. Not sure how much longer the weather / pass is going to be nice, so I'm heading home while I can. Let me know what's up, and email anytime: [email protected]
