The NSXPO 2003 Planning Committee is pleased to announce that, for a limited time, we are offering a special one-day registration for those who wish to attend the NSXPO 2003 activities at Infineon Raceway on Friday, October 10, only. This includes the following activities:

- Technical Seminars
- Vendor Booths
- Individual and Group Photo
- Banquet Luncheon Sponsored by American Honda
- Zymöl Concours pour L'Amusement

This registration is being offered based on requests from those who cannot devote five days to NSXPO 2003 but still wish to take advantage of the activities on this particular day. It is a one-day pass that covers only the NSXPO 2003 activities taking place at Infineon Raceway.

The registration fee for this Friday Only registration is $100. To sign up for the Friday Only registration, you can either (a) transfer $100 per person using Paypal to [email protected] or (b) fax your name, address, and major credit card number and expiration date to 847-869-0302. You must register in advance; this offer is valid ONLY from September 21 through September 28, 2003 and will not be available after that or on the day of the event. There will be no refunds for Friday Only cancellations. Those who are already registered for the social activities at NSXPO 2003 cannot cancel that registration and switch to a Friday Only registration.

The Friday Only registration is available only to members of the NSX Club of America. If you are not already a member of the NSX Club, you must add $40 for membership dues to your Paypal payment or credit card charge. You can bring a guest for $100 per person without paying a second membership dues. New members, please include in your fax the membership form from the club’s website here.

An information packet will not be sent. To receive your name tag which is your admission ticket, go to the NSXPO 2003 registration area at the headquarters hotel (Embassy Suites Hotel Marin County in San Rafael) between 7:30 am and 9:00 am on October 10. The technical seminars begin at 9:15 at Infineon Raceway, so if you want to catch the first one, you will want to be at the hotel by 8:30. If you do not receive your name tag at the hotel by 9:00 am, go to the track (names of those with Friday Only registrations will be given to the gate guards to permit entrance) and find Ken Sax in the technical seminar area so that he can give you your name tag.

Those who sign up for this option are also welcome as spectators at the Niello Acura Drivers School on the track on Saturday and/or Sunday, as noted in a separate post being sent at the same time as this one. However, they will not be eligible to go for rides on the track.

See you at NSXPO 2003!

Good thinking guys! Yhis is the sort of thing that makes NSXCA a great club

I would be curious to know how many people by country/region take advantage of this offer.

Thanks to all on the Board for making a wise decision and putting up with alot of grief for the past few weeks.

nsxtcy (probably spelled wrong -- sorry)

I was one of the people requesting this and i cannot tell you how happy i was to learn that this would be available.

I started booking my plans today and ran into the first snag, The embassy suites hotel says that they have rooms available but will not honor the 139.00 rate. They say the deadline for that has passed and even though rooms are available they are something like 240 per nite! The lady i spoke with said she was speaking with you guys earlier today about the event, but says there is nothing she can do.(erin) I tried to call her boss,(ken) but he is at their corp hQ all week and not checking voicemail.

I can stay at the sheraton in San Rafael @ 95.00 a nite, but it sure would be nice to stay with the group, given that rooms are available. I would much rather pay 139.00 to be with the group, but cannot justify 240.00 per nit. Would you please see if maybe you can help? (perhaps you have more leverage)

Thanks

Tom

This was raised with the hotel by the members of the planning committee who are the point of contact for those arrangements, and they were told that the block rate could not be extended past the September 15 deadline. Sorry... :(

P.S. The block rate was $129/night, not $139/night.
