Yellow NSX featured on 10/2 episode of HGTV's "House Hunters"

LOL!

I was just about to post this. The car was a spa yellow it looked like--I first saw it in the background of a commercial and watched the whole thing. The first house was crazy! 4 stories! Even the realtor was rolling around in a new 7 Series. I can't believe how much his NSX stood out. Also, at the end they had an SC430 in the driveway..could that mean "goodbye nsx?"

Funny that you mention it. I was driving down Wilshire Blvd. yesterday in the Westwood area and saw a Yellow 03. Couldn't catch up to him because of traffic but I saw him make a left onto Sepulveda and head up towards the Bel Air direction. Wonder if it was the same guy. :)

Hrmm..maybe you're right--however the NSX seemed to be a 97, no exposed headlights, etc.

HGTV aired this episode again tonight! I taped it and made a short video clip featuring the highlights. Right click here and choose "Save Target As..." to save to your hard drive. The file is 9.64MB, and in Windows Media Player 9 format.

Stockton - if you looked closely, the NSX was parked on the street of the 3rd house they looked at (while the BMW was in the driveway). So I guess he kept it. Smart man!
About 45 seconds into the clip, they are shown getting out of the (realtor's) BMW. Then it shows their yellow NSX parked in the background by the curb. Funny, but obviously staged!

BTW, nice house! It's gotta be over 7 figures considering it's in southern California...

I look at these numbers and think about the cost of living around various parts of the US and am amazed on what you can get in different areas. Here in ohio, even in prime areas a 3 million dollar home with that land will get you atleast 7k square feet. In indian Hill in Cincinnati Ohio there was a place that went on the market freshly built it was 27,000 sqft and went for around 14-17 million I believe (8 car garage too :)). That in some areas of california would be rediciolous

What they do is go into major debt, and hope to God the housing market doesn't collapse around them.....:(

BTW, $33k in taxes on a $3 mil house is dirt cheap - I pay 1/3 of that in taxes for a house that is 1/8 value.

I think that means the NSX sleeps in the garage while the SC430 is left to the elements. :D
