Any tips or information would be appreciated. Yes, I am nuts about detail.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you should remove the entire coolant tank as suggested earlier. It is very easy, a few bolts and a couple of hoses. I had a time getting the clamps off, but not brain surgery. Then you will be able to wax the firewall. Then pick up the phone, dialing all odd numbers with your left hand and all even with the right, stand up and sit down, and then call your nearest OCD hotline for help. :D Just kidding. I like detail, but you put me to shame.

Don't forget some of the best detailing tools come attached to your hands! Use your fingers to get into tight spots like these.

And remember to remove the pollution stickers while you're detailing this area. It makes a huge difference and is worth the effort.

Thanks for the information. Like the idea of removing the stickers. My car is at the dealers now so I can see what they are. What exactly are the stickers, and is it OK to remove them?

Thanks again.

Doug
