Having driven this clutch at NSXPO 2002, I would NEVER want it for the street. Ponyboy might disagree, but i would imagine after being in stop and go traffic for 20 minutes.. he would agree
The multi-plate Exedy clutch is fairly static, meaning it engages or disengages with out much resolution in between. It is designed for aggressive track use, but certainly can be used on the street. If you are used to driving performance clutches, the Exedy clutch will not surprise you. Compared to other performance clutches, like the Comptech, the engagement is about the same in aggressiveness, but the pedal effort is much lower. Please check out Shawn's recent review here:
