WoW.

That's definitely a big WOW

I guess the NSX owners really dislike their OEM wings :p and the last picture totally got me off guard :D

I happen to think that NSX's look VERY VERY good with a wing like that with complimenting body parts (wide body or a nice Ground kit).

The ferrari is a complete Hammond Ferrari it appears. Saw one on South Beach one day. BEAUTIFUL car, but I like them NSX's MUCH better (probably faster too if they put 1/2 as much money into the engine as they did the body).

Kudos Brian! Awesome link/url to a fun thread... Alot of eye-candy, I think I need a cold-shower and a warm mug of milk&ovaltine to calm down. . . :-/

:)

p.s. here in GreaterLondon- I've been seeing a mad number of Skyline's. . . I dunno man, just not my cup-o-tea, so to speak.

Awesome find Brian!!!:p

To each his own. I'm on the other side of camp who happen to think the NSX looks fine the way it is.

Brian, if you are talking about the Top End NSXs than I would bet they do have a lot of money in the engine as well. My friend did a video/photo shoot with the Japan Top End NSX club and got to ride with them. As he tells me, these NSXs (Or at least most of them that were on the video shoot) are insanely fast. During part of the shoot he was riding in a modded turbo RX7 and they could barely keep up with some of the NSXs.

There's a lot of San Diego NSXs in that thread. You can see FuryNSX, emvanderpol, nzo-who's car... you can also see AZ's Chris@SoS and Seth@SoS pre-widebody, etc. Wow. Lots of NSXPrime cars!!!

You can also see the people! Me, nsxgrrrl, Kinan, FuryNSX, tbNSX, etc in some of those pictures with people in them! :)

most of nsx pics in Japan were from the tokyo area, and the street racing (and drifting) happen reguarly in Yokahama. I'll post some pics of events next year when i attend 'em

Nsx looks good with the wing, after seeing these in the flesh, standard nsx's look boring in comparison :D

I wonder what kind of engine mods are done to those NSXs. I'm hoping they have nothing to do with FI.

I know some had the velocity stacks like the one SOS is starting to develope. Other than that I have no idea.

I think the major problem with big wings and bulgey body-kits, aside from hammering the authenticity/value of the NSX, is how they destroy the flow of the lines the designers intended for the car. If you want a car that looks like a cartoonist's redition of a race car, then great...it's your car, do what you want. But, being a cartoonist myself, that's the impression I get from the modded bodys (of the cars, not the babes). And it also fuels the fires of those that claim the NSX is not an exotic as it's so prevelant in the import tuner set. Some crazy Ferrari owners aside, you're not supposed to NEED to mod a true exotic. (IMO)

I think the stock rear end is by far the most beautiful part of the NSX styling. And those beautiful lines are destroyed by the aftermarket wings, particularly those that look so tacked on. Just my O, of course (but apparently I'm not alone in thinking this way).

Batman?

What's with the sideways photography? Can't anyone take a straight picture?

I agree with Ken -- big-ass wings, unless there is some overriding functional concern, don't make it on the NSX for me.

I saw that...kinda makes you wonder what the owner was thinking...

I really hope you're not referring to the Ferrari!

I think a Hammond Ferrari is a MILLION times better looking than a stock 360!! It has a more aggresive look with the body kit and the rims...it doesn't sit so high up and it has much nicer appeal, but to each his own i guess
