Bailey,

There is a silver Diablo wrecked in front of some school buses on that site, is that the dude that hit the volvo head on last year in Long Island??

Was the Diablo doing some kind of stunt in front of the school bus? If he was, that was a pretty stupid thing to do.

Maybe trying to jump over some school buses from the looks of it!! :D :D :D

Right!

Actually guys - This was a very sad story, and if you were local you would have heard about it last year. The Diablo was racing a twin turbo vette in Long Island, NY. On a road that was very crowded. A school bus pulled out of the bus parking area and the 2 cars tried to avoid it. The vette T-boned the bus, and the driver lived. The Diablo swerved and hit a Volvo head on, the Volvo had a family of 4 in it. The husband, wife, and 2 kids in the Volvo died, as did the driver of the Diablo. The Corvette driver got a very large jail sentence. It was all over the papers and the news here, they said they were moving at over 100mph. I don't even think it was a 55mph zone. I believe Bailey might know more about it, but I think I got all the major facts correct.

Very, very sad.

It is nice to be able to enjoy your car, but do it in an open or controlled setting, preferably on a track. It is even worse when they are sacraficing the lives of children. Terrible. If I had a diablo, I wouldn't waste my gas on a vette.

That is a very very sad story. I'm sincerely sorry to hear about the lives lost and the lives affected by 2 peoples reckless driving.
:(

I just did a search on that crash, and I wanted to correct it, it's amazing how out of shape it gets when you here it through the grape vine.

It's still very bad, but at least no "entire family" was killed. It seems that the Lambo tried to get around a slow moving Cadi. and couldn't get back in the lane in time. He struck the Volvo and killed the driver. Both drivers were killed and their wives, who were in the cars lived. The vette tried to avoid everything, and went off the road and hit a fence, and a parked school bus.

Still very bad, and we all get the point. I just didn't want to be the cause of a twisted story.

Here is the article I found:
