Look at the Sh%t storm I started with the BMW folks

Ah, don't worry about it. BMWs are nice cars, but my experience with any German made car (be it a Bimer, Audi, Benz, Porsche, whatever) is that they tend to spend more time in the shop for stupid little things that should never have gone wrong in the first place.

Japanese cars are about the finest made and best executed builds available on the market. German design and engine design is certainly awesome, but they just can't seem to build the entire car with the same quality. It seems they all get annoying rattles after about a year or two of driving them (not to mention stupid little engine parts that break for no reason).

I owned an S2000 for 3 1/2 years before getting my '03 NSX and not a single trip to the shop, nor a single rattle or creak. As a daily driver and with suspension that tight... truely amazing. Ditto so far with my NSX.

My wife's Audi TT.... well, that's a sad story I'd rather not subject you to.

I'll stick to my Japanese sports cars. I love 'em!

Trolling the BMW forum like that is really sad. You're obviously just trying to stir things up. If you can't enjoy your car without putting down other people's car, you have some real issues.

If someone posted here that they sold their NSX and got a BMW and said they liked it better and signed off with "See ya suckers!" it wouldn't be received any better. Hopefully the folks over there will realize your attitude is not representitive of NSX owners in general.

Yes Charley, I'd say you started a sh%t storm. Congrats.

Well, I like both cars! I've owned 2 BMW M3's in the past and would never put one down. Just a different car for different people.
Also, I hope BMW guys realize you don't speak for all NSX owners.

My wife drives a BMW and I have to say they have the worst service out of any car I have ever owned. The car is always in the shop for some kind of light coming on. They say 1 day to fix and then have the car for 8 days. I wanted to buy a 540 but could not bring myself to deal with the service on 2 cars. I bought the Jaguar instead. I would never buy another BMW again just for the horrible service. To each his own, if that is what someone likes then by all means stick with the BMW.

I want you to sit in a corner and think about what you just said!! I have never met a former NSX owner turned BMW owner like it better unless they had kids or hate sports cars. Then again, I've never met someone who went from an NSX to a BMW...usually its the other way around, or in tandem (both an NSX and a BMW).

It's really sad when people starts a "Flame War" just for the fun of it!

Make no sense to me!

LOL I can't believe I wanted to join those e46'ers with an M3. That "suckers" comment was a bit much though dude--I can see where they are coming from. The M is a beast, and I believe should be respected. They are wrong too though (some maybe merely jealous at your exotic aquisition).

The "suckers" reference only needlessly pisses off an entire group of folks for no good reason.........why? You lose all credibility with the point your trying to make.

RyRy210: Starting flame wars in other forums is just LAME.

I agree. That's why it's best to never mention things like BEST WAX, WAR IN IRAQ and TIMING BELTS...
