I am a fan of Movado, Tag, and Breitling. Audemars Piguet are also nice, but are quite a bit more expensive.

i bought a gucci when i was in HK but didn't wear it much.....it's good quality but i'm not much of a watch person.

i know some people buy them not to tell time but for the rocks that glitter....:)

Just bought a Breitling Wings Automatic. Very classy loking watch.

I got a Rolex as birthday gift one year and haven't worn anything since, at least not on a daily basis. I have a Fossil I wear when I do anything active (run, swim, work on the car, etc.). But honestly, Tags have always been my favorite. I'd like to have one to replace the Fossil..... in due time, I'm sure.

which watch is the most indistructable of them all ?

I

I hv had a couple of Museum watches (movado) and love them.
I like my Concord as well.
Current favorite is my Tag Kirium with the rubber band and blk face.
They have an upgrade to this watch...Carbon Fiber Dial
and I think it comes in Titanium now.
This is the watch I want to wear every day just like the NSX is the car I want to drive everyday.

I've always been more of an egg timer person myself. I took my watch off about a year ago and refuse to wear one now. What freedom...

If I really need to know what time it is, I am always able to fine the correct time.

I personally prefer an hourglass.

Had one ever since watching The KRULL.

Everyone should experience the thrill of creating a sundial (used to synchronize with) and peacefully watching the sand move by the force of gravity. It is truly "understated elegance, and simplicity".

I used to have one hanging from the rear view mirror in the X until I took a turn too hard on a freeway on ramp and the hourglass smacked against the windshield spilling sand everywhere.
I think that I ended up being 15 minutes late to work that day.

If anyone knows where I can get one in carbon fiber, please post.

I am happy with my Seiko, primarily because it comes from my kids (with suggestions on model from their dad).
Haha :D

However, I bet they know their dad well enough to pick out a watch on their own: ;)

Rado Ceramica and Rolex Submariner

The Rado has the coolest LCD display.. looks like gold metallic numerals that completly disappear when you shut it off leaving only the hands on a black face.

The Rolex is like an alarm clock strapped to my wrist. It's a pain to have to wear it every day or it runs down, but it is as accurate as the quartz Rado.

The Rado. Note: I didn't take a pic of mine. I got this pic from the Rado web site. It is completly scratch proof made of ceramic, sapphire and titanium. I've had mine about 12 years and have worn it hard and it shows no scratches, unlike the $200 black Seiko I had where the black finish wore off in less than a year.

Man, give a guy a break!! :) That's harsh.

But you are right, those would go pretty good with my rims. Do they come in white? :D

I had a quartz Movado for the past 8 years, and was very pleased with it until its recent demise. For the money, it was an excellent value. I couldn't find one I liked this time around (all too trendy), so I decided to go with a something I could dive with.

I am not a fan or the huge gaudy ones, but did manage to find an Omega Seamaster 120M midsize automatic that I have been very pleased with in every respect (including accuracy, which I feared was noticably inferior to the quartz).

This is it:
