Hello all;

I've been browsing this site for a couple of months and descided to join the foray. I was the first to test drive the NSX when it arrived in our dealer's showroom back in 1990. It was silver and it fit me perfectly. I never forgot it. Now that I have come along in life, I am considering the eventual purchase of a used model, between the years 1993-1997.

I am not in the market as I write this but hopefully, as I gain knowledge threw this site, I will be purchasing within the next couple years. For those of you who are fortunate enough to have the pleasure of owning and driving one, I envy you greatly. I am not without some form of motoring pleasure as I own a 1974 Triumph TR6. A different ride, but a ride all the same.

Thanks for the insight into a truely great sportscar.

Welcome! Why would you not consider the years 91 and 92?

From what I have read so far, it would depend on certain problems being fixed (door thingy, snap ring etc...). Price, condition, color, milage and maintenance records will also play on my purchase. I hope I have not offended owners of earlier model years.

The '93 may be susceptible to the window regulator problem (although that's so inexpensive to prevent that it is not a major consideration).

And 80 percent of the '91 cars were not in the snap ring range.
