I've searched pretty thoroughly and didn't find any threads dedicated to cigars on nsxprime. All non-enjoyers can save the unhealthy talk etc... :)

What cigar did you smoke tonight, or have recently? We had a rare semi-decent (50ish) night in Chicago and I had a CAO Brazilia GOL. This along with Bahia Gold Maduro is one of my favorite non-Cuban smokes. What else does everyone stock in their humidors?

CAO and Cohiba.....toss me one :D My wife hates it I do. She says that she can smell me miles a way--even threaten to toss my humidor a way:D I know she wouldn't, so I only do it when I am out at the bar, golfing, or a wayyyyyyyy from her.

Fonseca Zeder 4. This cigar was made for the German market. Fonseca cigars are typically Dom. Rep. wrapper with Mexican binder and Dom. Rep. filler making them mild to medium cigars great with, of course, Fonseca port wine. The Zeder line has an Equadorian wrapper with a Nicaraguan and Piloto Cubano filler and Dom. Rep. binder giving them a much richer flavor than the original Fonseca line. Great size too: 5 3/4 x 50.

My humidor also includes: Fuente Hemingway, La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda, Partagas Naturales and an incredible knock-off made by JR Cigars of the Fuente Cuban Corona that is a great in the car (yes, I smoke in the NSX) cigar which is very inexpensive--bundle of 20 for $25.

In fact, I am attending a scotch and cigar party at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle (former site of the Detroit Grand Prix-Cart era) this evening.

Enjoy those cigars!!:D

Did someone say Ciga-weed!!!

Hi

Cohiba and Monte Christo NO.3.

Red Bull gives you wings, but for a non smoker like me the above cigars made me really fly with my feet 5 cm off the dance floor. :)

Regards

I enjoy many fine cigars. When I travel to Toronto I buy Cohiba and Punch but they are not as good as they were 10-15 years ago. I also enjoy Royal Jamaica and many other brands from Nicaraugua, Domenican Republic etc.

BTW my NSX with license MADURO was pictured in an early issue of Cigar Afficionado, circa 1994.

right here!

When I was buying my Elie Bleu Humidor I was a little shy about the cost and posted here, but no one seemed to be a big cigar person. I am a huge fan of Fuente products. Fuente Hemmingway short story's and Chateu Fuente maduro's are my standards for daily smokes. For variety dominican MonteCristo stuff, cuban Cohiba's (the dominican stuff is ok but overpriced), and H-Upmann's are always around. I keep about 3 boxes of regualr smokes in the house at all times and there;s always the cubans for special ocasions. I had an Opus X perfection No.2 last night...mmmm that was great :)

Ok NSXers, how many of you dare smoke your favorite cigars in your NSX? I, for one, find a cigar and my NSX to be a perfect match!:D

I tend to favor stronger/richer flavored ones, maduros where available.

I used to smoke them in my previous daily driver; not anymore. I DO smoke them in rental cars, and in the Miata on a top-down day...

What's in there now...

a) some contraband from my "travelling days"
- Cohiba Robustos
- Montecristo #2 (torpedos)

b) other stuff I like
- Padron Anniversarios (piramides, etc)
- Opus X (only a few left)
- bigger-gauge Fuentes
- CAO, AVO, and a few others I don't remember (Dominican)

c) "everyday smokes"
- Partagas maduros

I stick to smoking other cars :pO-Ace
I already retired from that....too easy. :]

NICE humidor Aaron, which one did you get? I am a big fan of the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos but have not been able to get my hands on an OpusX...I hear about that thing everyday though!

I also prefer full bodied maduros like Manuel. The Partagas #8 maduro used to be my everyday smoke. Don't know how I forgot to mention Padron Anniversarios..definitely one of my favorites. I also currently have Padron 5000 maduro and La Aroma De Cuba's in the humidor.

Any of you guys use the 'Cigar Oasis' humidifier? I had it recommended to me by several very active cigar enthusiasts and I haven't looked back since. It's the only way to go. :) Some pics of the stash: I had to clean it out to make way for another box of Bahia Gold Maduro that are coming tomorrow.
