Hi,
Anyone riding on TE-37's? I'm planning to get aset! should i go with
17X8.5 front, and 18X9.5 rear? or
18X8.5 front, and 18X10.5 rear? or
18X8.5 front, and 19X9.5 rear? or any recommendation would be great! Please.
I want to get that real flush fender edge look, with no rubbing! Whick offset is perfect? I am currently riding on aset of bilstein shocks with Eibach springs.
Also, need help on the bilstein shock Low and high adjustment? There are three setting on the SHOCKS!
Should i go with the middle height? or Top Height or Bottom height? if you know what i'm talking about?
what would be the best setting for the eibach springs?
I greatly appreciate, if you can post some spec and photos would be great too.
Thanks very much!!!! Jimbox

As I found out the hard way with my TE-37s, unless you truly don't care about where the rubber meets the road, you pick the tires first and then find a rim size that works. There's nothing worse than having a rim that none of your favorite tires fit or they will rub way too much.

Chris at SoS has a very nice setup of te37's... might wanna ask him for some advice...:)

Go with the size that Volk recommends.

17X7.5 +40 215/40 R17 (front) 18X9.5 +40 255/35 R18 (rear)

or

16X8.0 +42 215/45 R16 (front) 17X9.5 +40 245/40 R17 (rear)

As for the bilsteins, I know you are seeing 3 grooves, but the shock only has 2 settings. Stock setting and a setting that lowers the car 0.8 inches.

I used setup # 1 on my old '95 NSX, along with bilstein shocks (stock setting) and eibach springs:

Eventhough they are called LE37T, I doubt they are really limited in production.

Also, if you take both TE37s and LE37Ts, you'll see that the spoke designs are not completely identical.

Above is the LE37T application guide with sizes recommended by volk.

I think he is talking about the limited edition TE37s. Same rim as a TE37, but in a different color.
Check it out (link)

Which is exactly what I posted above, the LE37Ts. Please check my post again.
No, the TE37 Limited edition and the LE37T are 2 different series at least in the marketing standpoint even though they look similar or even identical. I have TE37 for a while, and had LE37T for a tiny while in exact same sizes. I don't think there was any difference in spoke design. If my impressions serve me right, my LE37T might have a slightly deeper lip but it might have been just an illusion. Currently I have LE37K and of course they are completely different wheels. Can't Volk just simplify the wheel names????

Sorry, you are correct. I didn't see the Limited Edition TE37 pic above the LE37T. I know for a fact that there is a slight difference between the LE37T and the TE37s. Not sure about the Limited Edition TE37s tho as I've never seen it in person before.

No problem, Ryan. I think Volk got the most confusing naming system in the industry. Why can't the "LE" mean limited edition, period?
Anyway, how did you get your old TE37s to look like that and how much extra did you have to spend?
Steve

I would also like to know the answer to that. Even a recommended wheel shop to do that would be greatly appreciated. The TE37s look great like that. I suspect the Bridgestone GC-07s would too.
