Compliance pivot

I really haven't had a chance to study my NSX (91) especially the suspension system, but I've read a lot about the compliance pivot on the front.

Since I've already stored my car for the winter I don' thave access to it to investigate. Can someone explain or perhaps show me a picture of the Acura 'pivot' setup?

I do my own alignments (you have to when you own 7 928's) so I'm very familiar w/ suspension geometries and the like, but the image I have in my head my not match what the car has.

Below is a picture of a compliace pivot, very easy to spot behind the front wheels. It allows both front mounts of the A-arms to move (pivot) slightly rearward on compression, which helps keep the wheel pointing where you steered it over bumps, reducing toe changes (bump steer) and the associated need to make steering corrections as the suspension travels up and down. I'm not really sure what you are asking other than that...?

Thanks Lud, that is exactly what I needed. Essentailly a method to control toe on droop and bump. I just wasn't sure how Acura was using the term.

Nsxtacy: my service manual should be here any day, but thanks for asking.
