I'm selling my black/black 1995 NSX-T as I'm purchasing a 2001 NSX-T.

It has just over 54k miles. And has recently had major maintenance done to it (i.e., new belts including timing, new seals). The car has a CD changer and keyless entry system (I still can't believe it wasn't standard equipment but it wasn't).

The car is in Miami Beach, Florida and in good condition. I am asking the low price of $33,950 as I don't need two NSXes.

I haven't taken pictures for posting yet, but will in the next day or so and will post them (or e-mail me and I'll e-mail them to you).

Feel free to call or e-mail me if you have any questions (305-864-4928, [email protected]).

Pics..

Here is a link to the pics that I have posted on Ofoto.com. You can view them for free and without registering. The files were too big to post here.

Also, you'll notice that the floor mats are worn, but I have a newer pair of NSX floormats that I will provide.

Finally, pardon my typo in the title. It's an NSX, not an NXS. :)

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello
I was wondering if your car has a clean title?...any accidents?....any paint or body work done?...how long have you had it for? And all that good stuff. Thanks.

Here are two of the replies I have sent people about the car:

Tim, thanks for your e-mail. Here are the answers to your questions:
* any accidents or 'stories' in the past
Nothing too serious. To my knowledge, the following is a complete list. The only reported incident was when someone in an SUV while parallel parking backed into the front of the car. Due to the height of the car, they damaged the hood which was replaced by the Countach body shop here in Miami (service mostly exotic cars). Additionally, someone backed into the car while it was parked denting the body above the driver's side front (if I recall correctly) wheel well. This was able to be repaired without any parts being replaced or painted. The prior owner when he first had the car dropped the roof onto the level service next to the trunk on the driver's side as he removed it from storage from the center not realizing that it had become hot by being above the motor. This was repaired by a dent wizard type service. Honestly, I wouldn't have known this if he didn't tell me and my pre-purchase inspection by a friend who has been in the used car business for over 20 years did not of discover it. Finally, the car had a few, I think 3 minor dings removed by dent-wizard type technology while I it was in for service.
* do you have all receipts for maintenance (esp. timing belt), was water
pump replaced too? I should have most, if not all, of the receipts. Yes, the water pump was also replaced.. In fact, there is a complete list of the work that was done on NSX Prime as I posted a question asking if the price was reasonable when the work was done.
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=23304&highlight=seals+belt+price
* ownership history - how long have you owned it? I'm the third owner, but have put a majority of the mileage on the car. I bought it directly from the 2nd owner. Original owner had it on a lease with a very low mileage limit. I think it was 2 years and 10k miles. He returned it with just under 10k, I bought it with about 20k (if my memory is correct).
* do you have a carfax you can send? I do not have a current car fax, but can obtain one. The VIN is JH4NA1186ST000050 (yes, the 50th car made in 1995, the 50th car with the targa top).
* anything about the car at all that wouldn't be considered "near-showroom"
condition? Normal wear and tear. Additionally, the aspirator fan is making noise. I believe it was replaced once by an Acura dealer here. I need to check my records and theirs to see if they did and see if I can get Acura to cover changing it again. Alternatively, as I have read on NSX Prime, this could be resolved by simply cleaning the fan. The display on the radio is failing. I have another radio I bought to replace it through NSX Prime, but one of the channels doesn't work on it (didn't know that until the dealer installed it during it's last service). I will provide both stereos with the car and I assume that at least one, if not both of them, can be repaired or that a shop that repairs car stereos can combine the working parts from each to make resolve the issues.

Of course, I assume that if you are out of the Miami area that you will either travel to inspect the car yourself or have it inspected on your behalf as I want to make sure that anyone who purchases this car doesn't discover anything that I did not notice and feel I mislead them.

Andrew, here are the answers to your questions:
1. Could you please elaborate on the maintenance history of the vehicle? (number of owners, where maintenance done, how often, with particular attention to things like timing belt / water pump, etc.) Maintenance has been done as recommended by Acura. Most of it has been done by Acura dealers (some oil changes have been done by others). I have most of the receipts for service. Even some that predate my ownership. timing belt, water pump, etc. were replaced a few months ago by an Acura dealer. In fact, there is an exact list of what they did on NSX prime as I requested information as to whether the work needed to be done and the price was reasonable Here is the link to that posting:

FYI.. the fuel filter was also replaced. The air filter is an after market high performance air filter that is cleaned not changed. I have shaken it out to remove most dirt, but do have a cleaning kit to do a more complete cleaning and will include it with the car (I just haven't done it yet).
2. Exterior condition of the vehicle (any repaints?--where?, dings / dents, chips)
Nothing too serious. To my knowledge, the following is a complete list. The only reported incident was when someone in an SUV while parallel parking backed into the front of the car. 3. Interior condition (condition of leather--how extensive is the wear and cracking?, usual driver seat bolster wear? / to what extent?, dashboard, carpet condition)
No extensive wear or cracking. Usual wear and tear. Floor mats will be replaced with other ones I have that are less worn.
4. Mechanical problems (engine, transmission, does the targa roof leak at all?)
See above. No known targa leakage.
5. Any additional pictures would be most appreciated
I can take more if you need. Please specify what specific pics you'd like. The 6 that you've seen were taken yesterday and are all I have at this point.
6. Any kind of additional "aftermarket" warranty?
No.
7. Are there any aftermarket accessories?
CD changer from Alpine, bracket from Acura (although, I have never mounted the changer in the bracket), keyless entry system (still am shocked this wasn't standard equip)
8. What is the VIN number?
JH4NA1186ST000050 (yes, the 50th car made in 1995, the 50th car with the targa top).

I think I have passed this car while driving, as I have seen a black 95 parked on Arthur Godfried Road in Miami Beach.

If anyone wants me to pass by, I would be glad to do same.

Andy

Andy, yes, that is the car and my office location. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to see it in detail for anyone.

My e-mail address at my office is [email protected] and my office phone number is 305-538-2344.

I know have a car fax that I can e-mail to people if they'd like. Also, the aspirator fan has been cleaned and the noise was being caused by dust build-up. Thus, this issues no longer exists.

Also, I appreciate all the interest that has been expressed in my car and the reasonable offers I have received. I expect this car will be sold within a week. So, don't wait if you're interested.

Is the center console different? The interior shot on page 8 has the NSX badge on the armrest, which is typical of the 91-93's.

It has the NSX badge, but to my knowledge this is typical on the '95, not just the '91-'93. In fact, the FAQ on nsx-prime says the changes in '94 "Removed "DOCH VTEC badge" on center console cover." What you see in the photo is an "NSX" badge that includes in smaller letters "DOCH VTEC". I assume prior to '94 there was a seperate "DOCH VTEC badge."

But welcome others to comment if they are certain.

Since you asked... That is not an original 1995 NSX center console cover. There is no badge on the stock 1995 console cover. The DOCH VTEC badge referred to the in FAQ is the one from early model years that has "NSX" at the top as you described.

Interesting. The prior owner must have replaced the cover after damaging the vinyl and either purchased the wrong part new or found a used one from a prior year.

I learned something new; although, I doubt this will phase an interested buyer.
