In town for AMP

Hey all,

I'm in Phoenix for this weekend's run at AMP and would like to meet some of you Phoenix folks. I will be in town thru Sun. night.

Are any of you planning on doing AMP this weekend?

Hi Mark,

Unfortunately this is a bad weekend for me due to work. We are starting a major upgrade to a production system Friday night, and if all goes well I may be able to meet for lunch/dinner on Sunday, if not sooner. I'm not sure what AMP is (I assume it's some kind of track event), but I am not planning on attending.

If you would like to exchange contact info in the event that we both finish up early, please send me a PM or email.

It was nice seeing you today, Chris and I are both in for meeting up this weekend...

I will start calling around and see if anyone else wants to plan a little meeting somewhere....

Hey Seth, are you guys swamped with work or what? Tell Chris to get his act together and plan a drive pronto!

I'm planning to pull an all-nighter at work Friday night, then work all day Saturday, so I doubt I'll make it to the Pavilions. It should be a good showing though, considering the big Barrett-Jackson event is next week.

You don't by chance know Chris Parr? He drives an F40 and I believe he's out of Overland Park as well.

Dennis: I can't say that I know Chris; although, I may have seen him ar his machine at some point.

What's AMP? I thought you folks lived in this area.

Worse comes to worse, we could meet somewhere after the day's driving on Sat. for a bite to eat and some my-car-is-better-than-yours comraderie.

I met the folks at Basch and SOS yesterday. I don't think I have ever seen that many X's in one place outside of an organized event.

Pavillions?

So is anybody going to the Pavillions on Saturday night? Is so, what time? We were thinking of going on a little drive that way and maybe do some karting! Let us know if any of you are interested.

Scottsdale Pavilions is at 101 & Indian Bend. From AMP, take I-10 east to 202 east, then 101 north, exit Indian Bend Rd and take a left. The car show is in the parking lot by the McDonald's on the northwest side of the 101 and Indian Bend intersection. The car show runs from 2pm-10pm, but cars start leaving around 8pm.
