Any NSX T owners Installed a SOS/Cantrell Concepts engine cover with the Comptech Shock tower/Comptech Super Charger?. I know the factory T engine cover will not work with the Shock Tower brace but was hoping to install one of the Comptech Shock Tower Braces on my normally aspirated 02 NSX T. I have one of the mesh Cabon Fiber engine covers already and was a bit concerned abot the Comptech unit not working witht he engine cover

The factory engine cover does work with the revised Comptech brace. I have one.

There is a very miniscule rub on the very corner of the two braces where they leave the cross bar to go the back of the firewall. But that can be compressed when you close the glass cover.

does it help? It supposedly improves body rigidity, but is this theoretical, or can u tell the difference(on the track or at speed).

Have not tracked the car with the brace yet but soon will.

From just driving on the streets I can tell the increased rigidity when compared to the OEM; it is a marginal but noticeable difference not a huge jump. FYI, I do have Comptech sway bars and Bilstein shocks so my reference point is already skewed somewhat if you are comparing strictly to an OEM set up.

Which leads me to also speculate that adding the type R braces on the front may really push the limits of the T in terms of tolerable stiffness/rattle for non-track driving.

YMMV

thanx. My suspension is stock for now. I was debating between the Dali and SOS ARB's. aren't the SOS the same at CT? what made u decide on them?
