NSX envy

As a new NSX owner, I feel like I'm more demading of my other vehicles in the garage...
The daily Integra gets reved a bit more than usual, the wife's SUV gets a dose mild exit corner acceleration, the street bike raises its front tire more often and the YZ125 can't seem to keep it's tail from roosting out of the bermed turns.
Is this normal? Do NSXers transcend to another level of expectation of their mechanical beasts once they realize what a properly designed, manufactured and maintained vehicle is capable of?
Too many potential anologies including Adam and Eve's awareness/shame, power corrupting/absolute power corrupting absolutely etc, but what are your daily observations while driving/riding something else besides the NSX?

Don't know that it has any great effect. My daily drive is a Mercedes CLK 430 with AMG suspension so its no slouch. If anything I drive that a lot harder than the NSX because it's not mine - its leased by my firm. The NSX is however, all mine and anything goes wrong I have to pay for it, so I tend to drive it when I have a journey that will really use its capabilities but with a sensible margin for error. I don't want to have to pull this one out of a hedge.

The thought of NSX ownership doesn't enter into the equation when I'm riding either of my bikes. You're simply too vulnerable on a bike to take unnecessary chances.

73 Roadrunner: "Classic cruiser."

89 Accord: "Transportation."

2003 BMW 325 XI: "Sporty, nimble."

I would be a fool to expect anywhere near the same level of performance from the other steeds in my stable. I just feel totally different in the X, like I am one with the car and the road.

I get up on my MR2 when the NSX is not around - Very bad for gas mileage when one drive either car at a high RPM range.

I think I tend to demand more of the other cars too. I push the full size SUV in turns (wife complains that I squeal the tires), I expect more power from my Lexus and now the Integra isn't as fun to drive. So the Integra is going up for sale.

Sounds like the Integra needs a bit of FI love!:D :p

What year and model Integra?? I have a '96 Integra GSR that has only seen about 600 miles (yes, only 600 MILES) per year since I bought the NSXs. It is a great car, but it just sits and sits. It has super low miles, and is in mint condition, but I just never really have a reason or situation to drive it. I am either in the NSX or Accord for driving around or trips, or S2000 if it is really sunny out. In the winter the Blazer is there, so the Integra is in storage. There is a picture of the Integra in its natural habitat (stored!!) with the NSXs in the 'Grand Prix White NSX' thread in the photo gallery.

My Integra is a red '98 GSR, mint like yours. Good car, but since my commute is short now, it just sits. My wife doesn't drive it. She drives her SUV or Lexus. I drive my NSX any chance I get and when I'm not driving that, I drive the Lexus. So, my poor Integra is just parked. It goes out maybe once a month.
I saw the post on giving the Integra some FI love. Thought about that, but I probably still wouldn't drive it much. The car is mostly stock (except for I/H/E and sound system), so I figure - sell it and make room for something else that might catch my eye in a year or two. I'll miss that car, but driving the NSX more than makes up for it. :)

No. last February I had to pull my NSX-T out of a hedge, or rather waht was left of the NSX out of what was left of the hedge!:( :(

yeah, I got my x in Sept. My soon to be wife asked me to sell the Honda Accord and I told Her "I'm going to use that for my daily driving..." Guess what, I had only driven the accord for less than 5 occasions... Totaling less than 200 miles... The nsx, 6000 miles since I had it... :p

I found myself making excuse everyday for driving nsx, only time that will stop me for driving the nsx is that if I just clean the car and it's awful outside, I would keep it inside the garage. :D
