I just installed the SOS polished aluminum coolant tank and thought I would post some pics. You will note that it matches the Comptech strut brace.

Nice

Very nice looking. Do you mind if I ask a question or two?
1. How difficult was the install?
2. Did you just clamp off the coolant lines going to take?
3. Does it retain stock location and mounting points?
Thank you for your time, answers, and posting of pics.

Looks nice Mark now post a pic of that SC. :D
Never mind just found it on your Home Page...Nice!!!

92nsx,
I'll chime in.
My brother and I installed this tank on mine (tks for the xmas gift bro).
It mounts nicely in the stock position/points.
We turkey basted the coolant out of the tank and took care not to dribble when removing the milk jug.
Only tough part was getting the bottom hose on the SOS tank. That part of the SOS tank is not the same shape/spec as the OEM.
If we had removed that hose and applied lots of pressure before installing the new tank, it may hv been easier.
We lubed the heck out of it and got it on almost flush with the body of the tank.
I think someone used a dremel and chapstick to get the hose on theirs:D
By the way Mark, it looks great with the strut brace following the same angle!

Actually, all mounting points are the same between the stock and the SOS tank. My only problem was getting the lower hose off. The clamp had been rotated in such a way as to make it a bit tedious to get to with pliers. I couldn't see an easy way to clamp off the lower hose and I didn't have a turkey baster; so, the antifreeze ended up in a catch-pan on the floor (don't reuse spilled antifreeze).

Just a minor caveat: make sure you wash off the spilled antifreeze when you are done. It can make an awfull stink if you don't.
