Relocating to Tampa Bay area

I'm bringing my NSX back down to Florida, where it belongs, in March.

I'm shopping around for a new home in the Tampa area and have been a few prospects in Brandon, Riverview, and New Tampa. Anyone from the region have any good/bad comments about any of these areas, or builders in these areas? I'd like to be close to downtown Tampa where I plan to get a job, but definitely want a newer home. I'm a Senior Web Application developer in case anyone knows of any employment opportunities.

I'm originally from Baltimore , clearwater is really nice 15 min from tampa, and 10 min to the beach. Been in fl for about 3 years now.

I live in Brandon. We have cheaper home insurance, due to being further out of the hurricane zone. Also, larger house for less money. Newer houses, a lot of construction going on still. The Crosstown Expressway is being expanded to get the commute time down. It's an elevated highway that is one way into downtown in the morning, and one way back to Brandon in the evening to cut down the commute. It's a dollar each way though.

Good choice.......get out of the cold and come to Florida.
