What is the difference between the Service Manual Set and the Shop Manual? Why is one $99 and the other $76. I did a search and looked in the FAQ but could not find any real answer. I think one may be bound and the other loose paper but I am not sure. I want to make sure I get the bound version. Thanks for your help.

I'm sure you found the descriptions are identical.
Just don't try asking helm - I went through a series of e-mail questions with their support group & they were still unable to give me an explanantion - additionally the responses were curt & generally worthless for content. If the manual itself wasn't such a great aset I was tempted to tell them where they could shove it ....
I just got the $76 version which is a soft cover bound version.

The SET should include a Service Manual, Body Repair Manual and an Electrical Manual (I think, mine are at home). From my experience (12 years working on my 91) you do not need the latter two manuals.

The "set" is the only one "in stock":)

I am sure both are bound. Only the 1991 manual was loose paper, when the ran out of bound versions. I ordered that four years ago by mistake, had not read enough on Prime:).

Thanks for the replies. I'll order the Service Manual Set. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get 1000+ loose pieces of paper for my $100+ after shipping!

Sorry, have to disagree about the set.I have found the electrical manual a must, but thats just me. it has saved me countless hours in labor.
