I did the deed. I flew out to NY and picked up the "91" blk on blk auto and drove it all the way to CA. It was an adventure to say the least. I will post pics soon. The only thing I noticed in a negative aspect was small rock nicks in the nose/air intake area and noise occasionally when turning (coming from the front end). I checked FAQ and that didn't seem to answer what it might be.

The positive, is that I finally own one and it handles very well. I will be looking for advice on what mods are the best first steps and @ a reasonable price.

P.S. For anyone wanting to know, it was 3k miles and took 50hrs. That included one nights stay in Indianapolis:)

Welcome and congraulations, we'd love to see pictures! And you stayed in my neck of the woods. Would have loved to see it, but I'm sure you were anxious to get back home. Glad you had a safe trip.

AWW!! I was only about 1 hour (100 miles) away from you!! Dang, I would have loved to meet you. Well, enjoy your car, and drive it as much as you can. :D

What a way to get your NSX! Welcome to our community. I bought my 91 silver/black in Fargo, ND, and drove it back to California as well. My 2200 mile trip took me and my friend about 23 hours non-stop (just for gas/food) switching off driving duties.

All I can say is Montana was absolute FUN!!!! I don't think my NSX and I ever had that much fun. Sustaining triple digits for nearly two hours was just incredible.

Have fun with your NSX!

RPM217,

You are exactly right, I do need new tires! I am excited to be on the side of owning an NSX as compared to wishing for years! It was much like the STOCKTON guy who has been looking and looking. Pretty soon you just figure that no place is to far and you fly out and pick one up.
